Love this place! Recently moved to the area and it reminds me of a place I used to hang out at before I moved to La Crosse. The staff is very friendly, the food is great, and their beverages are awesome!! Not to mention, their open mic nights are a great way to relax and enjoy some local music. Check this place out!

We just loved our whole experience at this warm and cozy coffee/wine bar! The two young women working there were so very sweet and friendly. The crepes were delicious and fresh and our Americano delicious! Wish we could have come back that evening for beer/wine and perhaps some trivia. Just a great place! Next time we're in town . . . plus the Mint for dinner!

My daughter and I were visiting her girlfriend who attends UW La Crosse. We went for Sunday morning breakfast. The service was great, crepes were delicious, and loved the Maple Latte

I went her for the first time with my friend for her birthday because it was Jazz night! The group was awesome! Everything is so unique when it comes to decor and I love it :) We ordered a crepe and some apple ciders. Because it was late in the night they were out and were super nice and offered us some alternatives. The chai tea latte was wonderfully spiced! Best chai I've had. Great place to run into people you know too! We ran into 4 people that we knew who were there with different groups. Definitely will be going back again!

The Root Note has the best mochas I have ever had. <3 they have dinner crepes that are so yummy. The last time I was there I had fresh from the oven granola with steamed milk and raw sugar. It was so good. It is a creative environment and often has live music. <3 It's a wonderful place.

Hip coffeeshop with light vegetarian fare, loud music, and lots of students. The menu is short, consisting of crêpes, soup, salad, granola, coffee, tea, beer, and cider. I love that it’s so local/organic/fair-trade focused. Haven’t been here for a show but hear the live music is great.

The best crepes ever. Super healthy options and dessert options too. This was a great stopping point on our way from Chicago to MN. Short walk to river with neat artwork along the way.

It's cute and a very relaxed atmosphere. Service is friendly. Chai latte weak on spice. Maple latte pretty yummy. Crepes are average. Berry crepe with heavily sweetened frozen berries was a bit of a let down. Mushrooms in the savory crepe we had were well cooked and tasty. Good place to do a bit of work and enjoy a casual breakfast

Fantastic hang! Whether having a meeting, listening to live music or just trying to get work done...this little cafe is a true local gem! And the food? Wonderful and just off-center enough to be unique! Oh...and the salads are made with clearly fresh ingredients. I love how intimate this place is and still tell my guests not to miss this gem! Thanks for being my office away from home!

I like this place. Cozy and unpretentious. And great savory crepes; at least The Cremlin, for sure, is extremely tasty.

Crepes are great! My girlfriend and I go here weekends mornings and play cards while waiting for crepes and tea. Also great study atmosphere for students.
