My first visit to the Tavern was this past Saturday, we were celebrating my Sister friend’s Birthday. Parking was a bit of a challenge… they offer valet parking so you may want to par take. Once inside the party started!! We were seated right away. Justin was our server and he was phenomenal! The food menu is extensive and they offer lots of fun drink options. So it was great to have Justin help us navigate through both. We were there for brunch and show. The DJ was on point and the entertainment was awesome! It was a DAY PARTY! Our food came quick the platers are huge and delicious! Justin was extremely attentive and responsive. We will definitely ask for him the next time!! Can’t wait for our next visit we had a Blast!!🤣
This place was amazing!! We reserved a table for the show the Dinner show they had. At first we had bad seats but then some how the owner walked by and I struck up conversation with him. He then said he didn’t like our seats, and said we will be VIP for the night and moved us to a big section close to the stage. The food and drinks were on point but the atmosphere was beautiful…they have valet parking and make sure u have enough money for the food.
So I went in celebration of my Niece's birthday. The DJ was nice, we was seated downstairs. We made reservations, there was a 20 dollar fee. Tables were moved to have a dance floor. I ordered the jlo taco platter, didn't really care for it, the rice wasn't cooked long enough for me the beans and rice was good. The best appetizer was the Beyonce lobster Mac n cheese, the jerk egg rolls, was a little too spicy for me, but everyone else liked them. I had a nice time, I would like to come back on a karaoke nights with my cousins...
Went for brunch celebration with friends. First time there too. I was very impressed with the building, staff, and food. Plan to return very soon. The bartender woman with the pretty make up is awesome at her job. I have ZERO complaints.
Thank you, Tavern on La Grange, Staff,owners, Me and my wife celebrated our 21 year wedding anniversary last night.. Top Shelf all the way!! Food was delicious, Appetizers, main course all cooked perfectly!! The live entertainment had us moving all night!! Thanks Greg for the hospitality Much Appreciated...Highly recommend... For what you receive from the time you enter until you leave MONEY Well spent!!!
This place has been my “go to” one stop shop for food and entertainment! The atmosphere is conducive for relaxation and enjoyment. I’ve recommended this venue to many people and the consensus has been that this is definitely the place to be! I love the mature audience that’s always drawn here, and the food NEVER disappoints! Tavern on La Grange is a breath of fresh air for foodies who love music and social gathering.

Rather expensive but, the food was great, the service was great and the drinks were great. It was open mic night and the band was phenomenal! Definitely going back on my next visit to Chicago.

Me and the crew were shocked by the appearance. For when you look at a menu online and go into an actual establishment, they are almost two different entities. Disclaimer: came during the day so I cannot vouch for service or enviorment at night when live music plays and it transform to the club atmosphere.
That being said the seating arrangement were very nice. There are the regular tables as well as couch seats. The service was very friendly and attentive. RARELY needed to be called upon.
The food was a great suprise. All around great. Try the jerk rolls to start, a nice balance of sweet and savory. Pasta I reccomend is the Marlon Brando Fettuccine Alfredo. It was very creamy and good. The best plate though was the BB King platter. What a value and the food was filling from the sausage to the chicken. A generous baste of bbq sauce all round brought the flavor to our stomachs. While not celebrity name is astounding as a food, key thing is the food is good.
The only reason this does not get 5 stars came to the desserts. We had the chocolate and red velvet cake, I am not sure what went wrong but they didn't appeal to us as much as the actual meal. Not bland, but not exciting, possibly because not enough good chocolate or sugar. It was lacking something and I hope that can be improved.
