If you ever find yourself in the downtown La Jolla area, this is the lunch spot to go to. Fresh and quality ingredients used to make mouth water-ing delicious sandwiches that make me come back for more! Cant say enough on how much a yearn for another delicious home made sandwich each and every day made by the freindly, welcoming owner. Recommendations - try the Pastrami melt or Italian Sub. Perfection. The custom egg salad/tuna with tabasco is quite the unique pleasure as well.

Great little sandwich shop. Finding it is easy on foot. Look for the International Shops as your street facing sign. We ordered online and our sandwich and wrap were ready for pickup really quickly. My turkey wrap was delicious. My wife's sandwich was so tasty looking a seagull snatched half of it right from her hand on the beach. Never argue with the locals.

Nice and delicious place with great selection of cold and hot sandwiches and paninis. It’s hidden in an alley with a few other small shops. We had a take out and it was done relatively fast. Portions are big as well. There are a few tables outside on a patio to enjoy sandwiches right away. I had Turkey and avocado panini on a sourdough bread and it was delicious.

Stopped by on referral for a quick snack for breakfast and was glad I did. Had the everything bagel w bacon, eggs and pepper jack cheese with a Vanilla Frappe. Nice to support local businesses! I will be back to try more menu items soon as I heard they have a great pastrami sandwich :)

We stopped in for an afternoon snack last weekend and were fortunate to find this little cafe in La Jolla. My son had the French Dip and I had the Turkey Avocado Panini. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. They have limited indoor and outdoor seating, but the atmosphere is casual and pleasant. The service was a little slow but very good. I recommend this place!

Probably come here twice a week with the work crew, it's without a doubt some of the best sandwiches in La Jolla. Parking is tough especially during summer but it's worth it. The restaurant itself is tiny, I usually get it to go. The tuna sandwich is great, the rueben is really good as well.

I was visiting from out of town and found this cute little spot. I had The Jackie combo with the soup of the day, which was broccoli & cheese. It was SO good. Also loved that it’s a small local business. Would def recommend, gotta support!

Cute little place with truly delicious sandwiches. It on a hidden alley so it was away from the La jolla street crowd, still has many outdoor tables, I enjoyed it greatly for a Saturday lunchtime away from crowd yet in the mids of La Jolla downtown. Prices were reasonable too. I highly recommend it.

🥖 This charming place lives up to its name! Had sandwiches for lunch towards the end of May 2022 -- a rueben and a pastrami melt (pictured) -- and boy were they generous, I could have skipped dinner! Those two are listed as 'customer favourites'of the hot sandwiches, and it's totally justified.
