Great neighborhood to park and walk to .. right up the street (2 blocks ) from a very cool kayak shop.
Amazing scones. They have mini sizes so you can try different flavors. Scones are not hard. Very soft and good flavor of butter. coffee was okay.
If you're on the beach and craving a hot drink this is the place to go! It's about a 5 minute walk from the beach, and even though they were a little busy they were very quick! It's a smaller coffee shop, but hands down better than the Starbucks down the road!
Really love the ambiance of this cafe. Lots of food and drink options on their menu. Would recommend if you’re looking for a place to eat breakfast or lunch.
From the super fresh and delicious food 🥐 to the friendly staff, we always love Brick and Bell. Killer cappucinos☕️ and mini scones - especially love the honey maple walnut but they’re all fantastic. The wi-fi is great and they have a cute “secret” back patio if you need a bit of quiet but really we love the cute birds who hang out in front (sparrows, finches, all sorts). On weekdays you’ll get all the local color from wetsuit-clad surf instructors to kayak outfitter crews to chatty students and business types peering intently into Zoom. Our favorite casual breakfast in La Jolla Shores (after 15 yrs).
A lovely cozy coffee shop within walking distance of one of San Diego's best beaches. Service is always quick, caring, and warm. Great drinks, food, and the pastries are amazing.
We like Brick and Bell and they have a decent selection of coffees and some really good scones. We liked the maple walnut one. We also ordered the lemon poppy cake which was a little mushy, but had a good flavor. There was a really interesting mushroom coffee that one of us tried and thought it was pretty good and not an overpowering mushroom taste like you might think. Overall a good coffee place, but not amazing.
Lots of outdoor seating, none inside. Amazing baked goods, especially scones, but get there early. Some good breakfast options and decent but not amazing drinks.
I got the sunrise sandwich on a bagel and strawberry banana smoothie with a cranberry scone. The bagel itself was a little burnt on the bottom, but the smothie was probably one of the best smoothies I've ever had! The cranberry scone was also delicious. It is not to hard or to soft. The cranberries had a really strong taste which was amazing!
BEST cup of coffee ever. Mexican mocha and a cappuccino, smooth taste. Bakery items were fresh. Great service as well.
The turkey avocado sandwich was amazing, probably one of the best I've had in a while! Cute shop with limited seating.
Get the cookies! And the scones, a pastry, a sandwich... you can not go wrong. The chai tea latte is my favorite. Perfect quaint location. Get there early to avoid the line. They are a popular spot.
Brick and Bell is my favorite coffee spot near La Jolla shores. Their iced dirty chai is one of the best I've ever had!
Two caramel macchiatos - one iced, one hot - both delicious!! The cranberry scone was fantastic too!
Awesome coffee and breakfast place near by the beach. My usual coffee is the large Cappuccino with either Breakfast Wrap or Scramble Eggs. Decent price in an expensive area, and customer service is outstanding. Restroom is very clean. Parking along the street or right by the beach area. My family and I come here every time we come to La Jolla Beach (frequent visits).
