This review is for Cold Stone Creamery on Prospect Street in La Jolla! This gem of a store surpasses all other locations by a mile. The fact that it's family owned and operated by the most delightful trio - a wonderful man, his wife, and their lovely daughter - adds a personal touch that truly sets it apart. One remarkable aspect is that they’re open later than any other Cold Stones within 20 mins drive. The exceptional customer service further elevates the experience; these folks not only answer the phone but consistently go the extra mile to ensure every visitor leaves with a smile. Now, let's talk about the ice cream itself. Prepare to be amazed! Their technique of chopping and mixing toppings into the ice cream is an art form. Each luscious bite boasts an impeccable ratio that's almost too good to be true. My personal favorite, the Sweet Cream and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, is an absolute masterpiece when made by one of their culinary ninjas Cold Stone Creamery on Prospect has rightfully claimed the pinnacle of ice cream shops on my list!!

I recently visited Cold Stone Ice Cream in La Jolla and I must say, I was blown away by the quality of their ice cream and the exceptional customer service. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and patiently walked me through the menu options. I ordered the signature "Founder's Favorite" and it was absolutely delicious! The ice cream was creamy and rich, with a perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. I loved how they mixed in the toppings right in front of me on the cold slab, creating a unique and personalized dessert experience. The portions were generous, and the price was reasonable for the quality of the product. Overall, I highly recommend Cold Stone Ice Cream to anyone looking for a sweet treat in La Jolla. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Cheesecake Fantasy is the best of the best. We also tried the pretzel reese's penaut butter and was delicious. Sometimes, the portions are not as generous as other places but great quality and service, we had the opportunity to enjoy the sunset with a delicious ice cream so had a great combo!

I used to work for a cross-town ice cream rival, so it pains me to admit this, but Cold Stone is delicious. The "Founder's Favorite" flavor is so undeniably good, I just can't, uh, deny it. The staff at this location was friendly and helpful. They were patient with my kids as well. The store itself was clean and and filled with the smell of warm waffle cones. It's just one of the best smells in the world. The ice cream itself is delicious as well. I got one of the chocolate filler waffle cones and it was a fun indulgence. Overall the store is great, we visit all the time.

A fun little hidden cold stone creamery! We came here after visiting the beach and we got to sit outside and enjoy the sun and there was nobody else around! A fun little gem

What an amazing selection of tasty ice cream store is this cold stone location located upstairs which runs by Mr. Murat and his family, a very hard working family from Turkey. The place is very clean and friendly. Definitely worth the calories;)

Wonderful place, super friendly service. Have lived in La Jolla for over 30 years and look forward to coming here. They are located on the second floor, just above a better Buzz coffee. Delicious!

I think this is the best one in the whole county. The location is upstairs outside seating and offers a great view.
