Best specials around, beer and a large flat bread for 12 buckaroos. Beer and a pulled pork sandwich for 11. Beers are always a great selection and always changing. Bartenders are the best.

Best place for craft beer in the area. Fun, relaxed, locals environment. Enjoy a bite to eat while you catch a game and try a pint or two or three from their awesome beer menu. They only have 12 taps but the selection is always on point. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgable. They also have a good selection of wines.

Great variety in beers, decent food menu and affordable. Chill music and just the right amount of ppl. Not overwhelmingly crowded, but I also wasn't the only party. Good spot to plug in your laptop and have a few beers while working on some things. Happy to come back.

This place surprised me because it's actually a sports bar that happens to have great craft beer and wine. There's flat-screens, boardgames, and shuffleboard. We ate the Buffalo chicken skillet, which was terrific and reminded me of football season. We also had the Italian sandwich, which was just OK in my opinion. Something about San Diego sandwiches were they lack in meat but over compensate in bread. This place is really good overall and next time I will try the flatbreads.

Steady solid neighborhood taphouse. Owner knows beer. Small eats menu and draught and can/bottle beer. It's clean and comfy. Trivia, specials, TVs and suck make it an easy place to hang out and drink good beer.

I'm a semi-regular at Toma Sol, and it's currently my favorite bar. It's really the vibe that does it for me. Super unpretentious place without trying hard at being a super unpretentious place - just super nice people, a relaxed environment, solid rotation of craft beers, and good / pretty light food. It's a great place to catch up with your friends over a few beers, and a nice alternative to the more frenetic Urban Mo's / Fiesta Cantina vibe.

Friendly and attentive staff. Great selection of craft beers. Excellent appetizers and flatbreads. Good place to meet up with freinds or to just go have a beer and watch the game.

A quiet, friendly neighborhood spot. Join Club 12 (drink from all 12 taps within 12 days) and get special pricing on their #12 tap every time you visit. Boardgames available, and shuffleboard.

Roxy and Steve(the owners) run a great place and are incredibly friendly. They have board games and they do trivia too! Oh, and if you don't have one of their flatbreads then there's no hope for you

Its nice to have a bar in San Diego that doesn't have your typical beer and fried foods. Toma Sol is nice to relax, drink some beer thats hard to find anywhere and eat a really good meal!

Very comfortable local spot with one of the best rotating tap lists in town. If you’re an IPA fan you won’t be disappointed.

5 stars for the rotating drink selection, but 3 stars for the mundane atmosphere. It gets super hot during the summer, but the place was designed poorly and it's not the owner's fault.

Really tops beer list. Chill place to drink and socialize, came with a larger group and played board games while we drank and it was very relaxed.

My favorite place to drink when I'm in the 619. Friendly staff and on-hand owners and if you're lucky there'll be a couple of crazy kids running around like they own the place
