Because of COVID, Tavern 27 has been shut down, but ownership has quickly replaced with an outdoor version - Trolley 27.
My wife and I got a wonderful breakfast to kick off our vacation in the Lakes Region. Eggs with BBQ and a world renown spicy Bloody Mary! Absolutely wonderful. Go here to relax and take it all in. The beautiful farm land, grape vines, blueberry bushes, distillery, 9 hole golf course, etc. Have a conversation with Ray the owner. But don’t be in a rush - team is small. Went again later in the week for a spicy margarita. Excellent!
The owners are great and have really done an excellent job providing awesome food and drinks out of the trolley out back and on top of that they have an extremely fun 9 hole ball golf and disc golf course. Gotta give them a visit!
The best dining in experience in New Hampshire for me so far. Oh my god! Such an unusual atmosphere, so nice and refreshing. Loved the food and hot Apple cider in the middle of cold winter - all you can wish for.
This beautiful rustic find is a wonderful expirence. The tapas are a full large serving. The gluten free and vegetarian options are abundant.
The piano table is a unique location and one to reserve if it is available
The deserts are amazing, the bread pudding is some of the best that I have ever had.
I would highly recommend this as a charming dinner location.
If you want a fun afternoon outside having a drink by a fire, this is it. Don't judge the place by the pics, Ray and Leslie are great hosts with wonderful pub style food. Chicken/waffle sandwich is the bomb. Enjoy.
Ended up here because our first choice closed earlier than expected, then waited for reservations and boy was that fortuitous and worth it. The owner seated us by the fire, each dish was exquisite and perfectly seasoned, the staff was attentive, the drinks were solid, and the piano player was the unexpected perfect touch that tied it all together.
Then the bill arrived. My companion and I had been discussing what we expected the bill to be, given this was two adults not holding back, having alcohol and desert. The check was half of what he ballparked.
If you are in the area and you are looking for an elevated dining experience, you must go to Tavern 27.
Pulled up not knowing what to expect on a cold and rainy afternoon, couple of gentlemen playing a few rounds on a par 9 golf course. Great people, excellent food. The owner Ray and his wife are genuine people who truly care about what they do. We ordered from trolly 27 which is the food truck out back and we loved everything about it! Thanks for the food, the conversation and the memories!
-Chef Michael and family!
This review is for the Trolley, which is open Friday through Sunday from 8-3. The coffee, smoothies, and waffle breakfast sandwiches were really fresh and delicious! Also service was very friendly.
Prices were affordable and they take credit card.
The trolley itself is located off the main drag and has plenty of parking and outdoor (covered and uncovered) seating. I will definitely return!
