We went for my birthday lunch and it was very good. The food was delicious, I had the goat curry and I wanted it spicy, it was delicious, my daughter's shared the tandoori plater it was also delicious. The creme Brule and the cake were also delicious. The best part of our meal was our waiter he was very friendly and helpful and kept our drinks full. I love that you can order your food for your own spice level. I'll definitely be back.
Excellent environment, exceptional customer service, and delicious food. The staff are very professional and friendly, the owner is a great person to chat with. It has a beautiful small bar.
Best Indian food in town, in my opinion. I had the chicken tikka masala and the okra - both were amazing. My boyfriend said the okra dish was the best okra he's ever had. The food came out hot and fresh and we didn't wait long.

The food is not too spicy and if folks need it to be spicy they need to mention that.
The place has a good selection of food and decent wine and liquor selection.
They have some good cocktails as well.
Went as a team dinner and worth it. Very attentive staff. Food was good and served quickly and efficiently. Wide variety of options with your choice of spice levels. This place had the North Indian delicacies and the vegetarian dishes are worth trying. The drink options were very good as well.
This is in my opinion the best Indian restaurant in the town. The staff is really good and the owner - Mr. Gupta is so friendly and warm person. He ensures quality service. He visits each table and greets everyone. What an awesome person he is. The food here is excellent. I've been here 4 times and being a vegetarian, I get a lot of options. All dishes served are very tasty and they serve Indian beers too.

We have gone here for Thanksgiving for many years. Today did not disappoint. Gary our server was great. He recommended Vindaloo with lamb for me. It was excellent. We need to go more often. It is always a pleasure to talk to Dr. Gupta.
Food is delicious and all meat is halal. However, as a Muslim seeking halal meat you may not feel comfortable due to the fact that there’s a bar with alcoholic beverages and a Hindu idol right next to the tables.There are lots of vegetarian options as well, and most of their menu is gluten free, which can be great for people with specific dietary restrictions. If you, for any reason, do not want dairy, then you can easily ask any kind of meat to be added to your vegan labeled dish. There are not many things for the children either, may not be the best choice if you have kids. They also have a huge pile of dust all over the decorations right above the tables which was concerning. Overall good.
The only reason this restaurant is getting a 4-star instead on 5 is because of the 4% additional Service Tax they charge over your bill amount (note... this is not the tip) if you pay by Credit Card!
Otherwise, loved the service, hospitality, menu, food, everything.
I don’t usually write reviews but this restaurant is MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. Years ago when we lived near Lafayette I started going here and they have kept their recipes at the highest upmost quality and consistency. Since we have left, if there’s any chance we are even remotely in the area I will go out of my way to stop by and pick some up. I highly recommend the Chicken 65, any of their curry’s I personally like the Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken, definitely get some garlic naan and mint chutney! And if you’re wanting a treat a mango lassi or any of their delicious desserts. Truly a treasure to Lafayette! My only request is that you open a second location in Lake Charles!
Everyone that I've eaten there with loves the food. They like spice and I just can't have it. I've tried a couple of things that aren't spicy but the butter and garlic nahn bread are my favorite. Definitely the place to go for spicy and distinct flavors!
The ambience was good, the waitress was super attentive, The food was fantastic but next time when I get the chili chicken I would definitely turn up the spice level, thankfully the waitress made it very clear the heat level when ordering.
The food is amazing. It was a very slow night which I was sad to see but they didn't scrimp on service or quality. Have never had a disappointing meal here. Highly recommend.
This was the best Indian food ever! Owner was very friendly. The restaurant was beautiful and a perfect atmosphere for date night. We had the Tandoori Grill Mix and the Butter Chicken. For desert we had the chocolate swirl cheesecake and the coconut cake. The service was excellent. This is a must try restaurant.

I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED EVERYTHING I ORDERED AT THIS RESTAURANT. The grilled chicken wings were very tasty (and I was glad they were grilled 👍).
The lentil soup was very much satisfying to the taste buds!
There was a potato dish ordered (mild seasoning) which was absolutely DELICIOUS! I ordered another dish that was roasted eggplant with peas (mildly seasoned)...and this dish reminded me of a Creole Jambalaya--even though it was a vegetarian Indian dish.
The owner made his way to our table, and I certainly told him GRAND COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF!!!!!
YOU will get your money's worth here...and you will be WELL-SATISFIED with the great food.
I will definitely be a regular.
Just a shout out to our wonderful waiter, Gary!! He was not only very attentive, but was refreshingly kind. The food is always great, but his service improved our experience tenfold! Will be back ASAP!
Was happy with the Josh rogan, gulab jamun, naan, and tandoori chicken, except the paneer tikka masala.. it was unnaturally colored and runny. I’ve gotten tikka masala from destination India and the consistency was also off. Not sure why that’s a thing here. The rice was PERFECT

I always enjoy stopping in for lunch at Masala. Love the coziness of the atmosphere. I can relax and enjoy my meal. My last 2 meals I had the Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh. Both were wonderful. Today I had the Boti Kebab, it was excellent. It’s great that the owner “Doc”comes out and checks on his his guests. Wanted to give shot out to my server Britt. She’s always helping me navigate the menu.
