Employees are very nice & always willing to help me out with the menu! The manager also is very friendly & the restaurant is extremely clean. Food Is awesome especially the �Mediterranean pizza� Overall, just a great place to dine!�
The staff is AMAZING! The lady working the register was extremely patient, and helpful. The young man making pizza did “the floss” with my son, providing unbeatable entertainment! The atmosphere was family friendly and the pizza was delicious. 1st class! We will definitely be back 🍕

I'm so glad we found this place!!!! The food and the atmosphere is FANTASTIC!!! We had the turkey avocado sandwich, chicken salad sandwich, and a great salad! We will be going back very soon!

Went today had the Lobster Bisque & paired it with a pimento cheese wrap. Delicious. Very Busy but was accommodated very well. Will definitely go back :)
The staff was incredibly welcoming and the food was amazing! Definitely my new favorite place to eat!

Excellent service. The take out cashier took our order. She told us she helped us so we would have to walk "all the way across the room"! My BLT was the best.

I love salads. My stepdaughter bought me one of these in north Louisiana an it was so good. An then I saw the one that opened in Lafayette. This is one happy girl. Brought a friend yesterday an she loved the salad also. Always fresh an the place is very clean..

I like this place. Especially the roast beef sandwiches. And some decent soups as well. I really don’t understand some of the relatively low ratings. This is a good place for a sandwich, a step above the norm.
We had not tried Newks do to a friend having a bad experience when they first opened.
But I usually like to see got myself so-
I was impressed. It is a tad intimating when you first walk in if you have never been before.
You order from the big menu board at the counter - something the cashier could have been friendly in explaining.

It's great to have another tasty healthier dining establishment in the Lafayette area, especially with the plethora of burger joints, fast food drive-thrus, and other fast casual places around. Newk's menu is fun and creative; pizza, salad, and sandwiches.
We had dinner at Newk’s Eatery a few weeks ago. It’s a chain in the Deep South. They probably have 100 or so locations across maybe 10 or so states. Think McAlister’s or Jason’s Deli. The concept at Newk’s is the same but with a few “Southern staples,” like a pimento cheese sandwich. Some things were meh- the cake, the steak sandwich. Others were okay- the coleslaw, the mac-n-cheese. And some were downright good- the pimento cheese sandwich, the tomato basil soup. It's a decent, quick option for us on nights when I don’t feel like cooking.

Food here is solid, Newk's Q and the same pizza are really good. The wait time is not at a fast food level but it's more of a deli, if you haven't been here yet give it a try. Staff and service was prompt and polite overall the place was clean and well maintained. A good lunch spot and nice to order ahead and pickup. Please like if you found the review helpful :)
Great little spot! Can't believe I waited so long to try it out. Pizza was excellent and so was their soup! The tomato basil is super chunky if you're into it like that. (I love tomato basil soup regardless.) the have delicious desserts as well! 😋
The pizza and Newk's Q sandwich are two excellent dishes served here. If you haven't been here before, give it a try; the wait isn't at a fast food level, more like a deli. Overall, the facility was tidy and well-maintained, and the staff provided timely, courteous service. A good place for lunch where you can order in advance and pick up. Stellar service from the girl at the register, very patient and friendly while we perused. Food arrived in a timely fashion and we devoured it, for it was delicious. The creole mustard has a kick, as it should. Wish we had this place in Denver, it'd be a hit.
Edit: We DO have this place in Denver now. Arvada and Lone Tree to be specific. The mustard doesn't seem to have the same kick, but otherwise it's perfect.
Your salad "Newks Favorite" is one of the best things I've ever eaten! It is so very delicious!

Cobb salad no gorgonzola or blue cheese dressing. Add cheddar and honey mustard!
Ordered 2 sandwiches online. The sandwiches are delicious, they didn't take much time to prepare. The fruit bowl and chips are great sides. Only downside was the pasta salad, was completely dry and no flavor. But the rest of the meals were perfect, the service is great too. Highly recommend.

Went to Newk's for food this evening. Entire seating area was empty, so not busy at all.
Ordered two bowls of soup without topping s. After what seemed like a long wait a young lady headed to table with the two soups, both had full toppings. Told her both were ordered with no toppings. She was nice enough but took the soup to back and scooped all toppings into trash. I requested a bit of additional soup be added to bowels since I am sure some was lost to the trash can along with the toppings.
When the bowels of soup arrived at the table they were full so I do think more soup was added as requested.

The food was quite tasty. Wish they would put condiments back out...pickles, cheese, garlic, etc.
I brought my charger as I knew my phone battery was almost dead. Tried both plugs in two different outlet...all dead...Really Newk's this is 2023. Electronics abound and no juice (electricity) or wifi.....come on Newk's.
Okay I live about 1.5 hours away so don't get to this Newk's to often.
I noticed a few cleaning issues in the restroom have gone unaddressed for an extended amount of time. Sure hope this doesn't extent to the kitchen.
Not the best visit I've ever had but I've had much worse visits to other eateries. I'm sure I will return to this restaurant.

Brings back really nice memories of our first and many experiences at Newk’s when we lived in Oxford more than a decade ago. The Newk’s favorite salad is still amazing. So glad to have this in Lafayette and glad to be back. Thank you!
