Expensive but great products, especially the maple syrup and honey. All local, homemade foods. Out of fairness, the prices were not out of line for the products they sell and the items in the grocery stores charge about the same, but without the homemade taste.
Perfect place for a rest while driving along Taconic Parkway. Clean restrooms. They sell a lot of local NY products from cheese to ice cream to breads and plenty more!
My kid got very unexpecteded motion sick all over the backseat while we drove north up the Taconic Parkway. This place appeared right when we needed to pull off and the woman working inside gave us a garbage bag and a roll of paper towels and refused any payment/donation/personal tip whatsoever! Not sure what else they do, but 5 stars for customer service in my book! Thank you thank you thank you you kind woman!!! You saved us!
Local crafts and produce. Nice and homey. Sandwiches and ice cream with umbrella tables to sit. Lovely
I do a 6 hour drive upstate about 6-8 times a year, and this is a very dependable bathroom stop! If I'm lucky this is my only stop along the way and there's usually minimal waiting. Facilities are currently outdoor trailers with a couple stalls and a working sink. The store has some nice locally sourced products from all over NY state. Nice to stretch your legs and try something you usually wouldn't, good for local farmers too!
Center median rest stop featuring all NY State local foods. Wide selection of fresh sandwiches, healthier snacks, jams, cheeses, fruit and drinks. All NY State and locally produced. Worth a stop even if jusf for coffee.
Love this place. My family and stop here every time we go on a road trip upstate. Great selection of locsl drinks, snacks and food. Delicious coffee and baked goods also.
