Been here forever under different names (Don Jose’s). But the food is consistent and good, portion sizes are good. Chips are fresh and the pitcher of margaritas is a good deal

We went to celebrate the end of the school year for our daughter. Since it was still early in the day, it was technically lunch time. Our server was very responsive and extremely friendly. Our ordered food was ready within minutes and it was all fresh and delicious. The portions are very generous and we all left with to-go containers. If it had been later in the day, we would have ordered cocktails from their full bar, but were content with our sodas instead. I'm really happy with our overall experience here.

This is one of my favorite places in Orange County. I usually judge a restaurant by its chips and salsa and these are both amazing. The chips are the crispiest and warmest, with just the right amount of snap and flavor. I could just take them to a deserted island and be happy with no other food. I usually get their pascilla pepper chili relleno, but this time I branched out to grilled fish tacos. Amazing. My mouth is watering right now, and I'm planning a return trip in my mind, as I write.
Our favorite server is Alex. My daughter and I come for lunch about twice a month. The lunch specials are under $10 and generously portioned, the iced tea is always freshly brewed and our cups are always refilled as soon as they are empty. My favorite is the lunch fajitas, the veggies and meat are fresh and cooked to perfection.
The restaurant is always clean, if you notice something wrong and bring it to anyone's attention it's taken care of immediately.

What a pleasure!! Inviting Mexican atmosphere with music and beautiful interior. We received a courteous welcome and were conducted graciously to our booth. Our server was very attentive. We received a generous portion of chips and salsa. Our entrees came very promptly. The portion sizes were very generous and the food was excellently prepared and definitely delicious!
Visiting in Laguna Woods. Stopped at this restaurant for dinner. Nice and clean. The young man at the front was very friendly and courteous. As we had arrived at the restaurant at 4, it was boy crowded and we did not have a wait. The decor is nice. Our server was helpful and friendly. My dad had their taco Tuesday special were they have their chicken, Carne Asada, or Al Pastor tacos at 3.00 each. They were well served tacos. He loved them.I had the Rodrigos special which is Flautas covered in sauce and cheese. I personally did not like them but everyone's taste is different. Will definitely be returning to this restaurant when we are back in town.

Excellent Mexican food. Great margaritas. Endless chips and salsa included. The fajitas are good for two meals. Best value is to eat in the bar.
Huge portions, delicious food, incredible price of $10.99 for any of the six or seven luncheon specials. Free refills on our Arnold Palmer's, and delicious hot churros for dessert. My grandkids and I were delighted.
Food was good. I had the chicken and shrimp plate. It was great but too many bell peppers. Alcohol mixed shots were great.

Pleasantly surprised good food and service, we had the chili verde/ enchilada combo and the enchilada and taco combo. Definitely will be back.
The minute I stepped in the waiters were so friendly and sweet! My server today is named Angel and he’s amazing, so friendly! My food came out SO FAST, and the food tastes amazing, I ordered two enchiladas and they are SOO GOOD! It’s beautiful in this restaurant. I also ordered a mango blended margarita and it added the perfect touch to my meal. You have to try going here yourself you won’t regret it.
Great late lunch/early dinner w/the mother, food is good, especially the chicken tostada salads!. Definitely give it a try!
