This is our favorite #halal Chinese restaurant. We used to go all the way to Anaheim from Irvine but now only go here. The food is usually good, but the customer service could be hot or miss. During busy times they could get a bit rude . We love the orange beef, Jalapeno chicken, Garlic chicken, three flavored fried rice, three flavored kung pao and hot and sour soup.
We stopped at Ma's for dinner, and it was very good. We had the hot and sour soup followed by orange chicken, kung pao shrimp, vegetable chow mein, and steamed rice. The food was very good and service very prompt and professional.
We enjoyed the dining experience and will definitely be back. The vibe is positive with a quiet overall environment.
Been going to the Anaheim location for a while and wanted to try this one because it's closer. The sour cabbage with lamb hot pot is good. And prices are the same as the one in Anaheim. The decor is bright and clean. Accidentally ordered the thin bread, but I think I like it more than the thick bread now!
Food 3 stars, service 4, speed 5. Supporst Halal. I would give it 5 stars but the food isn’t too great. Setting is very aesthetic and pleasing. They first served us green tea while we ordered.
Excellent takeout. Salt and pepper fish was very tast (but needs to be more crispy) to be great.
Very unique halal place. The food is very good however the service is slow and not super attentive. I still rate the place highly because the food is pretty unique and delicious. The sesame bread with red beans was delicious and the cold meat dish and the soups were wondeful. I would come again.
Awesome food and service. Had the orange chicken, mongolian beef, and green onion lamb. All 3 dishes were delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will be back if I am ever in the area again. Highly recommend visiting!
New shop! Bright and clean and spacious. Definitely a place that can accommodate big party. I recommend the tofu omlette thing. Generous portion if you order dinner portion. Lunch portion is economically priced.
Nice and clean place. Food is good and the size of each is huge! Good to share.
Found this new location on Yelp and tried them this weekend. The new location is bright and newer, unlike the Anaheim location. We ordered several dishes and most of them turned out very good (the jellyfish dish wasn't good). I like the thin sesame onion pancake than the thick one as it's less bread-y and easy to reheat as leftover. The soup (pickle cabbage with lamb, one of their signature dishes) was nice, a lot better than the one I had at Anaheim location, which tastes so bad (salty and disinfectant solution tasting and I am not even joking) I would not order it again. The waiters are nice and pretty attentive. Overall, great dining experience.
Good service, clean restaurant(even washroom was clean), need music though...Ordered Corn Soup, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Beef, Orange Chicken...Beef dishes had a good spice kick to them, every single dish was delicious...😋
Excellent halal option. The service and atmosphere were great. Lots of art and knick knacks to transport you to China.
Amazing food every time, the best!
Quick service, good value.
Food is good, not greasy at all, and in a generous portion. It's a Chinese islamic restaurant. So it is good for those requiring Halal compliant food. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes very friendly, sometimes just cold and kind of rude. The restaurant is always clean and pleasant to sit down for a meal. Food generally comes really quick too.
Excellent Chinese food. Good ambience and great tasting food. Staff attentive and friendly.
