This is not your typical luau which maybe good or bad based on your own preferences. It’s a small venue and other people do have access to the beach behind you but that wasn’t too much of a bother. What I liked best was this isn’t a buffet and you sit at your own table. In addition, the server brings you drinks from the bar (all inclusive but limited to what is on the menu). The downside and upside is some of the food is better than others and you can’t order more of the food you like or go back in-line like a traditional luau buffet. The entertainment was on par with other luaus but the stage was a little smaller and you couldn’t see well towards the end when they did the fire show unless you were seated near the front. You are pre-assigned a table when you get there.
Holy smokes....literally lol.
Such a phenomenal experience and worth every penny.
Beautiful location beachside on the water. Paint worthy sunset happening as you receive your 5 course meal.
We had Rob and Taylor and they are the epitome of professional service staff. They genuinely love there job and it translates to a 1st class treatment.
The show... amazing. I was skeptical as I had been to several other Luau's but this was by far the best!
Everyone is greeted with a fresh lei but this is not your typical luau. Pairing the dance and traditional foods with pacific island nations really makes for a truly unique dining experience and a more sophisticated night.
Each course is beautifully prepared and sized as not to make it impossible to enjoy the next. You will not leave hungry and drinks are included.
This was our second time at the Feast at Lele, this time we brought our daughter for her birthday and she really loved it.
We let them know in advance and they brought out a special dessert for her.
The ocean front location is spectacular during sunset.
The staff is on top of your every need throughout the event. Tipping is a must!
Plenty of inexpensive parking in the lot across the street using a phone app to pay. There is also parking in the garage under the shops at 505 Front Street that accepts credit card payments.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Feast of Lele, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made me feel right at home.
The performances during the feast were absolutely amazing. Each one was beautifully choreographed and showcased the rich cultural heritage of Hawaii. I was captivated by the traditional dances and music that transported me to another time.
Now, let’s talk about the food! The culinary journey provided by the Feast of Lele was truly delightful. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavors that satisfied my taste buds. The menu offered a fantastic variety, and each course was a delightful surprise.
And let’s not forget the view! The location of the Feast of Lele offers a breathtaking backdrop of the ocean, creating an ambiance that is simply enchanting. As the sun set, casting hues of orange and pink across the sky, it added an extra touch of magic to the evening.
Overall, I can’t recommend the Feast of Lele enough. Five star well deserved.
Delicious food and great entertainment. Short ribs and chicken were a highlight. Loved the taro bread in coconut milk! The Tahitian vanilla shrimp was surprisingly good. Beverages were not stop, and entertainment was a delight. The lomi salmon and cassava chips were also fantastic. Great dinner for the whole family. We got there 30 minutes early and were able to get street parking. Probably 10 people in line before us, and this was on a Sunday night. We were also able to grab a photo with the performers after the show. We all had a wonderful time.
Go if you like alcohol and a glutton of food. Don't go if you're vegetarian and don't drink. Surprisingly kid friendly as my 5 year old loved watching the dances and found the rice and a few select dishes yummy. The "5 course meal" breakdown is family style shared dishes. 3x dishes per the 4 different islands with associated dances and then a plate of dessert. It's more than enough food. My favorite was the slow cooked pork with rice. Special shout out to that taro bun dipped in coconut cream. Eat your filling as you can't take anything home. While it's $200, I think it's totally worth it if you consider a $75 show with a $125 food package with unlimited drinks and 13 dishes for tasting.
Amazing night of food and entertainment! It helped that our table was front and centre with the perfect, unobstructed view. Not sure how tables are selected per reservation, whether it’s because we reserved our booking MONTHS in advance when planning our trip, or if it was because we ended up being first in line at check in because we got to the restaurant earlier than expected. (I believe the former because the woman had our names on a paper and appeared to read off the assigned table from that paper). I’d say there was about 4 rows of tables behind us but couldn’t entirely tell. Sucked to think they paid the same as us when they likely didn’t have as great of a view. (However - not my problem!)
Food was overall quite good, lots of new (to us) foods and flavour combos - some very tasty, some just okay. Picky eaters likely won’t be a fan of the spread. 3 small plates of different items per course but LOTS of food for the two of us, plus the all inclusive drinks helped fill us up even more. One of us has a tree nut allergy which we noted upon reservation and they were very attentive to this, both calling ahead of time to confirm as well as the waiter noting it upon our arrival. We were there on American Thanksgiving and they had a couple additional items on the menu to reflect that, which was cute.
Our service was almost the best part of the night! Waiter was so fun and sassy (in a good way), rapping out the items per each course when he brought them. We definitely set the tone for him to know he can be silly around us, since we heard him speak to other couples/kids etc. in a totally different tone, personalized to them. Very attentive staff in my opinion. A different waiter came by to serve our drinks, asking between courses or when a drink was running low if we wanted another.
Entertainment was also 5 stars. The hostess of the evening gave a brief explanation of each place we were “travelling to” after we had been served that corresponding course; afterward a brief 5ish minute dance traditional to that culture was performed. The dancers, makeup and attire, and their enthusiasm on stage were excellent and really enhanced the experience. The fire dance at the end that was performed during dessert was also impressive (and longer than expected!)
Overall a great time and would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Maui. Based on outside reviews comparing this Luau to others on the island it’s one of the top ones, and it felt like it was. Being on the beach, seeing the sunset behind us, a fresh flower lei among everything else I’ve mentioned, it was highly worth it. Expensive of course ($500.00 CAD and gratuity not included - all tips are split among all the employees) but definitely a “once in a lifetime” evening. Total time ~3 hours. Escorted to our seats at 5:15pm, ended promptly at 8:30pm.
I gave the food 4 stars because the food was not as good as I expected. Some of the plates came out cold. But we were there for the show and experiences so we were happy with what we had.
The service and the atmosphere were great. I love that there was not a big crowd and everyone could see the stage clearly. They assigned the table for you when you made the reservation so the earliest you booked, the closer you would be to the stage. We booked 3 months ahead and we were right in front of the stage in the center. So shame on the people cut in the line thinking they will get a nice table. They will start letting people in at 5:45 pm.
The dancers were amazing. They always had a big smile on their face. Their energy filled up the space. I recommend this place for your 1st experience with hula.
Beautiful location. Well organized. Dancing and music was very suitable and appropriate. Food: lots! The drinks were nice and strong. Well organized event: they split the evening into different dancing and food regions: Hawaii, New Zealand, Tahiti and Samoa
We were looking for a Luau experience that was focused on the food and service, and this venue did not disappoint. We had awesome service from Molana and Charles serving our food and drinks for each course. The atmosphere was perfect with a crowd that was not too large on a beautiful night. Drinks, food, and performances were enjoyable even though the West Maui hillside was on fire.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Feast at Lele, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The moment we stepped into the restaurant, I was captivated by the charming Polynesian ambiance and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The feast itself was an absolute delight. Each course was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, showcasing the rich flavors and vibrant colors of the Pacific Islands. From succulent seafood to tender grilled meats, every dish was a culinary masterpiece that showcased the expertise of the talented chefs.
What truly set Feast at Lele apart was the immersive cultural journey it offered. As I indulged in the delicious food, I was transported to the enchanting world of Polynesian traditions and customs. The live performances throughout the evening were mesmerizing, featuring graceful hula dancers and talented musicians who brought the stories of Polynesia to life.
The service was exceptional, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain each dish and its cultural significance, adding an extra layer of depth to the dining experience. It was evident that the entire team was passionate about sharing their heritage and creating a memorable evening for every guest.
Feast at Lele exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly unique and immersive dining experience. Whether you're a food lover, a culture enthusiast, or simply looking for a delightful evening out, this restaurant is sure to leave you with lasting memories and a newfound appreciation for the beauty of Polynesian cuisine and traditions.
This is a well done luau/dinner show on the beach in Lahaina from the same owners as the Old Lahaina Luau. The location is right on the beach with a great view of the sunset and you receive a real flower lei upon arrival. They coordinate each meal course with each culture being highlighted in the show. The staff and servers were very attentive from the moment we walked in. It's not cheap, but the price includes dinner, unlimited drinks, the show, and the tip. Also, they have a professional photographer to take photos of your party on the beach prior to the show...cost is $20 for the actual printed photo (not a digital download) but totally optional. Also, the fire dancer at the end is a nice touch.
Lovely setting for a more food focused luau. Love the concept of pairing there courses with dances of Polynesia. Admittedly there was way too much food, but everything (except the mango chicken) was great (chicken for so many people just gets dry). The kahlua pork was some of the best I've ever had, loved the dried ahi with seaweed and Maui onion, and the lomi lomi salmon was perfect. Cocktails were flowing and the staff were super friendly and accommodating.
Staff was super friendly, great atmosphere and energy! I could've paced myself better but all the courses were so delicious 😋 unlimited drinks got all the adults happy too. My wife is a picky eater and our server accommodated to her needs with ease. All the dances were so beautiful and the fire dance was the cherry on top of the cake. We were there a few minutes late but still found street parking and didn't have to pay for parking. Also, unlike other luaus, we had a private table and did not have to share with other parties. 10/10 experience and must do in Maui!
Finally gave in and went to my first luau, avoided on prior trips as a super touristy thing to do. They do a great job here and the kitschy cliché vibes are kept to a reasonable level. The food is good and plentiful. The bar is included in the price, unlimited, so be careful! Our server was Susanna and she was wonderful and really worked her butt off (they all do).
The show covers all of the South Pacific with some history and culture. You’re sitting on chairs in the sand beside a beautiful beach.
The 3-man Hawaiian ensemble was fantastic.
I’d say it’s kinda pricey at $170/person but there are a lot of people in the whole production.
Beautiful wonderful setting. Drinks were no joke lava flow was our favorite. The performance was great and the photographer was a nice touch.

Such a fun experience! Everything was fantastic from the moment we were greeted to leaving. The three musicians were outstanding, the dancers were so good, food and drinks good, and excellent service. The Samoan Pani Popo and the fire dance stole the show. So much fun!
