- Hawaiian Shrimp Trio
Island inspired Coconut Shrimp with Grilled Hawaiian BBQ Glazed Shrimp Skewer & Giant Shrimp. So delish and buttery! My favorite was the Coconut Shrimp š¤ The rosemary zucchini was a little too mushy for me. Tomato and Feta is a great side option.
- Cajun Salmon Tacos
Salmon rubbed in Cajun seasoning with roasted corn, a green goddess drizzle, topped with cabbage mix, diced tomato, cilantro and pickled onion.
- Ahi Poke
Sashimi-grade ahi, tossed in poke dressing, topped with aĀ Green Goddess dressingĀ and served with house-made tortilla chips. Could have used a little less dressing. A little watery. Green Goddess dressing had good flavor. It didnāt come with my order so I had to wait a bit for it to show up.
Good seafood spot, fast casual for sure but the food was really good.
The California Fish Grill is a great fish house in Lake Forest. The food is tasty and the portions are generous for a good price. It can get busy on weekend evenings, but they seem to handle it well.
I love the fish here and the prices are really decent for as much food as you get this place has the best fish and chips hands down.
The staff were very friendly, and although I don't normally eat fish, the Tuna steak with Garlic Butter and rice was really good. My wife loves fish and loves going there.
We came in last week after a recommendation and we were not let down. The menu is vast with seafood options. I tried a Cajun Salmon taco and it was great. The main attraction for me was the Fish n Chips! Every piece of seafood they prepare is incredibly fresh in taste and smell! Weāve all been to places that specialize in seafood and it smells or tastes like it stayed out on the dock for too long. California Fish Grill is not one of those places. We also enjoyed their Dynamite fries which have a sauce that is extremely good. Their battered shrimp tacos are also fantastic! They have a great little selection of tap beers and a cool twist on soft drink variations. We will be back!
Really delicious. I enjoy coming here for inexpensive but very satisfying fish. They have everything and so many sides to choose from. Great for a quick run for food its casual dining. Highly recommend the battered fish and chips, the clam chowder, the calamari, the corn, brussel sprouts, TACOS and the mahi mahi cajun style.
My go to place for lunch in the El Toro area. All of the food is fresh and healthy as well. Great healthy options for lunch/dinner. Would recommend to anyone looking for good fish

Great Sea food selection at a reasonable price. This location parking is a little hard to find as compared to the Irvine one. Overall loved eating at the CA fish grill whenever I am closer to a location.
Good selection of fish and customizable plates. Fish was cooked very well with good flavor, seasoning and char.
