My visit to Zan’s in Lake Grove was an absolute delight! The hot pastrami sandwich I had was a reminiscent of Katz Deli in NYC but at a more affordable price. The quality of the rye bread was superb—soft and flavorful. The staff was friendly, and the service was remarkably fast, ensuring I had a won
Loove the hawaiian chicken! I decided to go adventurous and it didn't disapppoint me at all. Mushroom soup was great and surprisingly filling.
Absolutely amazing pastrami, matzoh ball soup and kinish. I ordered the full stack, which is enough for two, but I haven't had a pastrami sandwich in a few years so I eat the whole thing 😋
They make take out easy. Call in advance, it's ready, hot, and waiting when you get there. Food is always GREAT! NOTHING like an overstuffed corned beef or hot pastrami sandwich with homemade coleslaw and the best pickles. The meat is always lean and freshly sliced. Everything they make there is top
Excellent, authentic Kosher food. We knew were in for a treat when we started out with the best kishkes and gravy we've ever had! The soups were fantastic, as were the cabbage rolls and brisket. We've been to Jewish Deli's throughout the eastern seaboard, and this is one of the best by far.
I ordered an overstuffed hot pastrami sandwich. It was delicious and came with two pickles and mustard on the side. Great place for lunch. A little pricey but good quality meat. It was not thinly sliced like the deli. I prefer the thicker cut myself so this was fantastic. I literally had enough to
I called the restaurant and discussed ordering a platter for Hanukkah. We went over exactly what we wanted, twice with 2 deferent people!!! We did NOT get what we ordered and Pat, who I assume is the manager, was extremely rude. As I'm trying to nicely explain what was wrong with the order, he hu
Absolutely AMAZING! We've been to Jewish deli's across the country: from NYC and Miami to Los Angeles. This is far and away the best Jewish deli we've ever eaten in. Truly like being treated to a homecooked meal in Bubbie's kitchen.
We started with the kishkes with gravy - moist, flavorful, and DIV
Great decor - nice to get good kosher deli without driving to the city. Had the deli double and it came automatically as the lean pastrami and corned beef. Wasn't aware they offered different cuts like another recent review mentions. I chose the challah roll and liked having the option. The matzo b
This is the classic Jewish Deli we were looking for. The staff here was over the top, the pastrami, while not as good as some manhattan places, still does the job when your craving it. It’s worth the trip if your looking for pastrami, corn beef, or matzo ball soup.
As someone who has just recently started eating kosher for about a year, I think I can give a pretty honest review about the quality of food at Zan’s. The food is absolutely amazing. I’m so happy about this, especially since it is the only kosher restaurant in the area. I ordered the steak burger su
You go for the food, not the atmosphere! Old School kosher deli/diner. Excellent! From the pickles and Cole slaw to the stuffed cabbage and pastrami, the food is outstanding at what I felt were very reasonable prices. Go and enjoy!
Pastrami was awesome nice big sandwich well worth the money.
