Been coming here since the late 80s. We have had food catered here and always the food is top notch.
Hard to find a pizzeria that executes great pizza and Italian entrees and appetizers.
On my recent family visit to the island, I always try to make here for at least a few slices.
I'm a Sicilian pizza purist, just the basics for me and their Sicilian is in my top 10 on the island and I've eaten at more pizzerias than I should divulge . The crust is cooked perfectly, crispy but not overdone. More than ample amount of creamy cheese and my favorite part is the sauce.
The sauce is in a league of its own, perfect balance of acidity and sweetness, it has a distinctive taste that is hard to duplicate. If they sold fried sauceballs, I'd fly up from Tampa, just for that.
If all these accolades weren't enough, the people here are nothing short of amazing. Warm, friendly and inviting, people you look forward to seeing. Place has a community vibe like it's Bay Ridge not middle country rd in Lake Grove.
Looking forward to my next trip back to the island and next time, stopping in lunch and trying one of thier delicious daily specials.

We came for dinner, party of 7, everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Family owned and operated. Wonderful atmosphere & holiday decorated. We sat in the large back room of the restaurant, could easily host an intimate bridal/baby shower. Garlic knots, calamari, mozzarella sticks, eggplant parm, chicken franchise, cannolis, everything is very good, portion sizes are huge, service is great. Highly recommend!
Customer bought us some pizza while on a job. Awesome pizza ! Very very good. Perfect and tasted even better because I was starving. Thank you.
I’ve recently been ordering pizza from here for my weekly meetings at work and it’s always fresh and on point. So Tuesday night, my family and I went there to try dinner. They were extremely accommodating, the food fresh and delicious, and the waitress was unbelievably pleasant. We haven’t received service like that in quite some time. While we were there I ordered catering for last night (Thursday 8/3/23). I was having 40 people at the beach because it was one year since my father passed away and I wanted to celebrate him. I was already anxious and just wanted the food to be checked off my list. Fidel was awesome! He was genuinely very helpful and the food was outstanding. All of my family was so impressed and I was grateful for Fidel and everyone at uncle Joes for helping me with this special occasion. Go there for dinner and I promise you too will find your new spot!!
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS HOW GOOD THEIR PIZZA IS.
We always get a grandma's pie or at least a couple slices of that with a large tradition pepperoni & cheese. We have now fallen in love with their chicken rolls too.
I can almost guarantee and safely assume most or all of their food is an A+. But we love what we always get and we are too vanilla to change our weekly order. The Ole motto... If it ain't broke... For now we will happily eat our regular order.

This is a wonderful family owned Italian restaurant. Mom, Dad, Son and Daughter are always smiling when you walk in...

We absolutely love Uncle Joes! 💕 My kids beg to come here and have renamed certain foods that they adore. Worth every bite!!
Had a family gathering there recently. Bertha was a dream to work with. Everyone was going on and on about the food. The gnocci! The mussels! The parmigiana! You just can't get a bad meal. Be aware it's a great pizza parlor in the front but don't miss out on the wonderful Italian restaurant in the back as well! 10/10 will return.

I always suggest this place to my friends whenever we schedule for a meet-up. The food and the atmosphere here can really put anyone in a good mood. The crew are also polite and friendly.
Since the new owners took over, been there three times and catered food for parties twice.
Food was always excellent and portions are generous. Everyone at my gatherings were pleased. Definitely recommend.
Food was wonderful. Pasta night is the best deal for italian pasta. Bread was amazing. Coffee was also great which came with my meal and also dessert amazing. Staff was super polite very attentive. Water was filled 3 times which is awsome and i felt like i dined 5 star. Plenty of room 16 full tables. Super classy and great prices that cant be matched .
Most delicious tomato I have ever had on top of pizza. Excellent crispy, puffy crust. Friendly service.
We just demolished absolutely two of the best 3 foot heroes we have ever ordered. The Eggplant parmesan and Chicken with roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella was amazing. We weren't surprised though because we get our pizza here weekly and it's just as amazing.
Family run pizzeria forever. The family is so nice and helpful. The food is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. They catered my daughters sweet 16 years ago and it was perfect. Stop by for a slice or sit down and be treated like royalty. Beautiful people and tasty food, what more could you ask for.
There are new owners. For me the sauce tasted better. For a small neighborhood pizza/restaurant it is a good value.
Under new ownership and I can say they have not missed a beat. Pizza and food is GREAT! Owners and staff are so inviting and always a smile on their faces. Cannot say enough about this place, keep up the great work
Great food ..Great service...Our sever was such a nice girl. The Marinara Sauce was so Delicious 😋. I would highly recommend this place. Food is available for Vegans....
