This was our first trip to Fred's and I thought it was great.  No, it's not a five-star restaurant with an international chef.  However, the food was fresh, hot and good.  For $15 you get unlimited food, including dessert.  How can you beat that?  I look forward to going back.  Hopefully I'll be even hungrier so I can try some different items.  The chicken was wonderful as was the fried okra and cornbread.  Yes, southern cooking.

Fred's Market Restaurant serves up a taste of farm to plate freshness, with food that is slowly cooked in a natural and unprocessed way. The restaurant aims to provide a cozy atmosphere full of warmth and fun. It's southern comfort food that's pure and hearty all the way to the core.

The buffet for dinner is full of traditional southern fare like Fried Chicken, Pot Roast, Pulled Pork, Chicken Pot Pie and a host of sides like Mac & Cheese, Collard Greens, Mashed Potatoes, Fried Green Tomatoes, and of course an extensive salad and soup bar with a dessert bar as well. Fred’s also offers a weekday and weekend breakfast buffet as well, with biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and you can even get the famous fried chicken in the AM

(407) 915- 6808View Website Here Buffet’s usually get a bad rap, and with good reason. Most of them offer large quantities of food at a decent price, but the food is usually two grades above slop level. I've always held to the idea that a high quality Vegas style buffet would do well in Orlando. One with quality selections of chef carved meats and live action chef stations with enticing sides like one might find at the Bellagio. Fred’s Market isn't quite on that level, but what it does do, it does fairly well.

Good home cooking but server set water pitcher right on rim of glass to pour it. I could do without everybody else's germs. Good vegetables, desserts. Worth a try.

If you're cheating on your diet, this would be the place to go. Fried chicken, ribs and a ton of desserts! Our waitress was attentive and drinks were constantly refilled. Patience is needed at dinnertime since the place is packed due to the price being very affordable for a family of 4 on a budget. May want to put up signage about direction lines should be going in. Should be a no brainer, but guests were running into each other. The wash area is the cutest amenity and a gentle reminder for hygiene! Love this place and most definitely will be back.

As a Southern Buffet goes, I thought this one was a cut above the rest. The dining area is nice and the wait staff are professional. Also the food quality was great too. The ribs are amazing! You can get all you can eat for $15 or cheaper options if you only want one or two plates of food. They also have a salad bar, soups, fried chicken, BBQ pulled pork, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole and all of the other southern favorites. I'd go again for sure.

This restaurant is worth exiting the highway for! The hostess is a jewel. She was kind and friendly, she made me feel like an honored guest. The food. I wanted pot roast which is why it came up on my search and I wasn't disappointed. The beef was tender and the gravy excellent. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. The creamed chicken paired well with the fresh made mashed potatoes. I tried to take a taste of as many things as possible but there were so many choices. There was a well stocked salad bar, as well as a variety of cold pasta dishes. While everything I tasted was well cooked and flavorful, I want to highlight a few things: cheese, garlic biscuit bites (amazing!!);fresh baked yeast rolls (so tender and feel free to use the REAL butter for them) and last and best was the corn casserole (not to be confused with their corn bread) I had two helpings of that!! The all you can eat option included baked sweet potato, three kinds of hot beans, boiled cabbage, mustard or collard greens that weren't bitter, fried green tomatoes and okra. I may be missing a few items but that will be a great surprise for you. Of there was anything negative it would be that this Pepsi drinker saw all Coke Products 😉 I wasn't surprised that the sweet tea was excellent! I didn't leave room for it but I tasted a piece of red velvet cake with an interesting icing. I had no room for the other cakes, pies or banana pudding. This was like going to visit Grandma, southern grandma. Complete with a sink to wash your hands!! Loved this place!! I'm sad I live too far away to eat breakfast.

Servers were fast and friendly, large selection of Southern Comfort foods, soups, salad, and deserts. The restaurant was overall rather clean, however, by the end of the hour we were they, our table was surrounded by un-bussed tables. It was a little surprising, to see that many uncleaned tables with napkins and silverware on the floor. I'd like to think it was just a temporary hiccup in process. We will definitely return, and their breakfast seems to be an amazing deal.

Wow! This Southern buffet restaurant was incredibly tasty and authentic! We went for dinner one night, and went back the next morning for breakfast. It was yummy, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly.

By far one of the best country style buffets I've been too this side of the Mississippi. Anything from fried chicken to corn casserole. If your mama cooked it they got it. Service is always great and they give 25% off for active duty or uniformed officers and 15 for veterans.
