An amazing family runs this wonderful coffee and treat shop. Chuck, himself is a character who will likely entertain you with his dry sense of humor. The coffee and treats are great and so is the atmosphere. It is a wonderful place for a meeting or to just sit and read the morning paper. It is one place I make sure I visit when I am in LO.

My husband and I both ordered a mocha and the Chuckwich. Yummy. People at the counter were awesome. We'll be back.
I ordered breakfast at Chuck's for the first time yesterday. The nice woman at the register suggested the Timber. It is now my favorite breakfast sandwich ever! Delicious!
No better coffee shop. Friendly people, tasty coffee, super steel-cut oats, perfect ambiance in a great community.

Love love LOVE Chuck's! Local, delicious & Chuck is the best! And if you ever get the chance, get a sticky cinnamon roll. Literally the BEST ever!!
Amazing bacon. Good coffee. Fun atmosphere and I got a cute mug. :)
Delicious, wonderfully friendly and a very relaxing atmosphere. <3
Makes my day to start at Chuck's. Great people, customers, food and my favorite coffee
Chuck's place just got Portland juice press drinks and they are awesome! Taste so fresh like you made it at home! Highly recommend trying:)
Excellent Service! Thank you Kate! Happy Valentine's Day!
Place was awesome up until they contracted their hours. Closes at 2:00 PM most days and even earlier on the weekends. Great vibe and location. Oregon Chai rocks.
Cheerful, bright, friendly. This is the perfect coffee shop environment! It's spacious with a variety of seating configurations to suit solo sipping, small groups, large groups, and folks with kids. The coffee and baked goods are good; the people are friendly and efficient.
Cute coffee shop with excellent chai. There is an adorable little kids corner with a kitchen set up for the little ones. Same local owner as Chuck's Pies.

Great Coffee, great food, good prices!! Just perfect!!!
The best oat milk latte in town! Excellent avocado toast and scrambles with crunchy bacon. Yum 😋
A big fan of the morning greeter himself Chuck.
He’s the real reason I frequent the best coffee shop in Lake Oswego every morning.
I encourage anyone reading this to visit this amazing coffee shop in the heart of town.
5 stars ⭐️ for sure.
I go here at least once per week for coffee or a couple frittatas. Its solid. The crew works hard and you can tell its not an easy job.
Decent food quality - but lacks the innovative, obsessed touch to earn 5 star rankings. Starbucks and another local spot beat Chuck's in quality, customer volume, and service speed. If it weren't for local support I don't know if the place would survive.
I would definitely recommend this place, it loses a star for being a bit too pricey (and I get part of that is location but..). If you have a big appetite this place might leave you a bit wanting but the food is delicious and the children's area is an absolute win. We had a lovely weekend breakfast date with a two year old that played merrily with the play kitchen while we ate hot food and enjoyed large coffees with no rush and no breakdowns.
Great coffee, nice location, very good staff. I'm not partial to their food, it isnt bad, it is just not to my taste. I'd describe it as rustic grunge hippie. I'm sure it's good if you like that style
I would say its an upscale diner. My breakfast came out fast! I ordered a waffle and 2 eggs. Waffle was about 6-8 inches in diameter and thin. I liked it :) the eggs were perfect! Not 5 star rating just because of cost.
Excellent illy coffee. The serve-yourself coffee was basically empty and cold; I'm sure when they brewed a new pot it was hot and delicious, but we couldn't wait around for that. The housemade scones and pumpkin bread were delicious. Plenty of space to meet up or work away from home at Chuck's.
Simply put, this is one of the true gems on the L.O. food scene. It's more than obvious that a great deal of pride and craftsmanship goes into each one of their tasty creations, and their barista skills are always on full display as they continuously deliver some of the best espresso in the Greater Portland area. Owners Lisa and Chuck have fostered a cozy, welcoming atmosphere in this intimate corner of the neighborhood, and their passion for providing both delicious food and genuine customer service are second to none. Highly recommended! A++
Coffee is good. Outdoor patio is great. Indoor space is nice and big with plenty of seating, but I've only ever sat on the patio. The baristas are nice but service can be a little slow. The coffee ice cubes in iced coffee is a nice touch.
I don't usually write reviews, but today was a snow day and worst one of the year...so far! And these guys were open and swamped! And they were great! Service was great, coffee was great, and the Timber Sandwich was worthy of a Timber Joey visit! Excellent all around!
Thanks!
My husband and I went here for breakfast and coffee. We loved the Egg Sammy, Timber Sandwich, and lemon poundcake, and enjoyed a tasty Carmel latte. Only reason I would not give 5 stars is because it smelled terribly smoky, which made my food and coffee not as appealing. The whole building reeked, and there seemed to be poor ventilation. Not sure if this is a daily occurance, or just today. Also, the gal at the front looked unhappy, and when I asked her if she would recommend the sandwich I had ordered, she just shrugged her shoulders apathetically and said, "yeah, it's ok." The gal who delivered our food to our table was also unfriendly. Maybe it was just a busy day and nobody was happy?
Coffee is pretty good (illy brand). The space is very inviting. The treats are really good. I think it's great that there aren't a lot of folks dinking around on computers. It's kind of a throwback to the 90's where people went to coffee shops to drink coffee and visit.
Chucks place is the best. Not only do they serve possibly the best affordable breakfast sandwich in town, but the coffee is wonderful and the staff are always super friendly. Hopefully you get to meet Chuck, one of the nicest guys around!
Friendly staff pulling espresso one drink at a time. The extra care shows in the quality of drinks. Food is all good too (and maybe the best prices in LO area for a burger). And the founder, Chuck, still hangs put and chats with customers.
Chuck's is a fine coffee shop with decent food. It's always pretty crowded inside. The baked goods are fine. I wish they were open a bit later on the weekend. They close at 2p.
Chucks is a welcome change to your average Starbucks. It's playful decor, friendly service and Ily coffee makes this a coffee pitstop worth making. Unfortunately it closes at 2, I guess they figure people should drink too much cafine in the afternoon. ☺
