Moved to the USA 6yrs ago and have really missed the good old fish & chips!
The best I'd found were at Gordon Ramsey's English pub restaurant in Vegas or Little taste of Britain in Salt Lake City. This past Sunday afternoon that all changed! The venue....Flanagan's Irish pub in Ronkonkoma NY. We ordered fish, chips & curry sauce. What arrived at the table, in very quick time was nothing short of perfection! Quite simply the best version of this English classic I have had the absolute pleasure of consuming on American soil. If it's the real deal authentic experience you are searching for then look no further than this warm, welcoming Long Island Irish pub. It was also extremely interesting meeting and chatting at length with Head Chef Nick. A true Gentleman and one incredible asset to the people who visit this excellent establishment.

We have gone several times for the Tuesday special...burger, fries and beer! This past week we decided to try the fish and chips.... service is excellent and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend you visit this restaurant �
Love this place. Never once had a bad experience and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Cold beer and awesome pub food. I'd recommend it to anyone in the area.
We just hosted my parents' 40th anniversary party here. The staff was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the room was beautiful. I highly recommend it and would definitely have an event here again!

Easter Sunday was even made more special being at Flanagans.We were a table of 14 and Lauran took such great care of us. She is a Gem. The food was great , we had a wonderful time. Going back for the yummy wings.

Top Shelf all the way. Food is excellent, prices reasonable, the staff are all pleasant, polite and efficient. Kudos to the chef’s. The Prime Rib is out of this world. A memorable dining experience - DON’T MISS OUT. 😀👍👍👍👍🍴🍴

What an awesome night. My family and I are headed there after a night of shopping and totally enjoyed our meal.
Maranda was a rockstar ... Made recommendations as to what we would like. Beer never got empty and she was ready with another one.
My daughter had the grilled chicken and she said it was cooked perfectly. She ordered the sweet potato fries.
My son had wings and truely enjoyed them. They were big and meaty, and had a nice flavor.
I ordered the American Burger and it was great. Asked medium rare and it was!
4.5 stars is right. We sat on the street at the curbside tables loved it out there but the traffic can be very loud with semi 🚛 trucks passing and loud 📢 cars etc. Other than that. It's a great place. We had some of the sandwiches . I had the French dip and roasted potatoes. Yum!! It was great! We also had the oysters app. Very good but not the best I have had. Prices are fair and the portions are as well.
My first time having dinner here. The burgers that my party of four ordered were delicious. We will definitely be back. Ordering Fish and Chips next.

The food is good for bar food. There was only one server for both the dining room and the bar. They were busy for a Tuesday afternoon (late lunch). Service was slow but can't blame the server, she was busy taking orders, answering the phone and delivering the food.
With that said we will go back because we like the food and atmosphere.
Great place to visit from out of town or a local hangout. Food is unique and made with a kind touch with an appreciation for the flavors. Would recommend for family or a date night out.
Went here for St. Patrick's Day and the food was delicious. Staff were friendly and loved the ambiance.
First time here. Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Enjoyed the food very much. Went on a Friday night around 745 and only waited 5 or 10 minutes for the table we wanted. Could have sat sooner. Like singer wS good too.
Went to see a band here food is very good the acoustics are very loud was very hard to have a conversation even before the music was playing and then between.
It was in the bar area so that might have something to do with it also but overall we had a wonderful time and I highly recommend it

Tonight was our first time here st Flanagan's pub in Ronkonkoma. We started out at the bar where Kylie our bartender took very good care of us.
We sat in the dining area and was a party of 8. Maranda was our waitress. She was on tp of things, taking orders and getting the food out. I had asked her to give me a separate check because I only had an hour, that was not a problem.
The appetizers were awesome!!! We had the fried calamari which was delicious, served with a nice marinara, the avocado toast which was awesome, and the baked clams that were gone before you blinked!
For dinner, I ordered the burger with cheddar and bacon and the shrimp, avocado wrap. The burger was truly amazing with that nice char flavor, stacked well with a cup of fries.
The shrimp avocado wrap was delicious as well.
In addition, we ordered the steak...amazing, the Sheppard's pie...nice. bolognese, delicious, the skirt steak and the chicken were all amazing.
Everything was enjoyed to the fullest. Maranda was just great talking care of our table tonight.

She had a great personality with everyone and a beautiful smile constantly. The food was fast, delicious and the drinks were amazing
Prices were great also

This is the Best Restaurant and Bar in Suffolk County! Great food and amazing staff! Bartender Paul and his crew are awesome! Live music too! Mach5 Band and friends highly recommend this place for a great meal, atmosphere and a terrific night out!

We waited awhile to be seated but the food the drinks and the wait staff were great 👍. The place didn't have that good vibe feel of a place that would make you want to come back.
Extremely accommodating with my dog and I. Gave him a little water. Let us hang out in the sun even after we finished paying and stuff. Very nice waiters and waitresses. Very lively place. Food is VERY good. This will be our regular mother son date spot.
Went here on Sunday for a baptism. I was extremely surprised by how great this place was!!! The food was delicious, the staff could not have been nicer and the overall atmosphere was very comfortable. Will definitely be going back.
We ordered from Flanagan’s through door dash. We had the fish and chips, French onion soup and the Shepard’s pie. Everything was amazing! Better than homemade. Highly recommend. Next time we will eat there.
First time coming here and the food is great, drink was delicious. We sat outside with our dog and they brought him some water. Great service! Can’t wait to come back
The restaurant was crowded because of a lunch party but we were seated immediately. Starter was Potato Soup and we had Fish Sandwich with fries and Short Rib Sliders. All really good. Drink is an old fashioned with was perfectly made. I will be back to try more of their menu. Enjoyed it!
