Really Good. From the looks of it, the building used to be a Dairy Queen and this place works great in it. You walk the line pick what you want and go sit down inside or out and enjoy. This is just really good BBQ, nothing fancy, nothing pretentious, just honest nice people serving what their really good at.
We have lived in Lake Worth for over 6 years. At the end of my day at work I tell my husband," I just want a RAY BURGER!!!"
Mess-merized. I can't count the number of times I've passed this place, wondering if it were open. It looks like an old Sonic with an al fresco eating area, but there is also room inside for about eight tables plus one loooooong table for about 10 people or if broken down, into three additional tables.
There is a crazy configuration for ordering. Once you step in the doorway, you are immediately facing the cash register. So go right. That's where the fun begins. The redolent smokiness that transcends the place would be that of barbecue, and there's plenty of it, whether it be brisket, sausage, ribs, turkey or chicken. The smell is totally mesmerizing. You would think then that is what I would order, but no. This time I ordered their Blue Cheez burger. So many of the reviews bragged about their burgers, so I wanted to try one, since it has been about two weeks since my last burger. I'm glad I did!
For a few cents over $10.00 I was treated to a good half pound broiled-tasting burger with all the fixin's. There were three slices of tomato, a large ring of onion, several pickles and shredded lettuce, along with a dollop of mustard. The bun was the weakest link of the whole deal. The bottom fell apart about a third of the way into my personal burger battle, and I had to resort to knife and fork, at least until I could find the bottom of the bun again. I've never been a fan of shredded lettuce either, because it ends up scattered on my plate, the floor, or the worst place of all, my pants.
The fries were really, and I mean really, brown. Old oil, but fresh fries. The fries were remarkably good. I had sweet tea, which was set up in a canister behind me in line. I was told which was was the sweet tea from the unsweetened, but I forgot which was which since they weren't marked, and of course I took the sweet tea, which wasn't overly sweet and was actually okay. I returned for the unsweetened later on but was not impressed. The tea was fresh, but since it was neither chilled nor refrigerated in any manner, it rapidly melted the ice in my glass.
It was lunchtime and business was increasing both at the counter and at the drive-thru. Because of this, and because there were only about two people running the operation, they were unable to clear the tables consistently. They came out a few times when there was a break, but they never completely caught up. They did the best they could due to the circumstances.
Well, I'm glad I finally got this out of my system, or should I say INTO my system. I should have done this burger thing a long time ago. I will try the BBQ next go 'round.
My family loves the frog! Can't go wrong with the BBQ, and if your a burger person you must get a burger! You won't be disappointed.
Awesome place! The food is just amazing, great BBQ and awesome burgers! For a BBQ place they sure can make a burger! The BBQ also has a perfect smoky flavor that I love and it is always so tender. Not only is the food to die for, the service is great. Very friendly people willing to help you with whatever you need! Great atmosphere! Definitely a place to go check out if you really enjoy outstanding BBQ and burgers!

A Favorite Hole in the Wall. The best hamburger/cheeseburger/frogburgers AROUND! Or at least in the Lake Worth area.. I really like this place and I recommend it to many. The fries are really good too! For those of you who think burgers are the shizzle, you should go here.

Classic burger. A friend took me here once and it turned out to be a nice little classic burger joint. The burgers and fries were really good, a basic salad bar and cold beer to boot. The price for it all won't break the bank. Enjoy.
First time here. Was a little worried that at lunch time there was no one there at lunch time on a Friday afternoon. Young girl was nice and showed me all the side dishes. I opted for the brisket plate which included two sides. Cost just shy under $20 which is way more than I normally spend for lunch, but barbecue normally is overpriced in my book. The brisket was moist and tender. Barbecue sauce was a little too tangy for my liking but good. The Mac and cheese was thick and stuck to your ribs. No cheese sauce left behind! Green beans were nothing to write home about, maybe add a little smoked bacon to flavor it up a bit more. Texas toast was perfect and made mopping up leftover sauce easy. Overall food was good but I have had better for the price eventhoughI thought the portions were good.
Just your old school BBQ joint. Delicious food. Good prices. Nice sized portions. Hubby ordered the sausage plate with potato salad and bbq beans. I ordered the chopped sandwich with fries. Definitely recommend.
We came in to the restaurant and it has a casual vibe. We had burgers, brisket sandwiches. The onion rings were very good. My 4 year old like the kids brisket plate and the hubby liked his burger and fries. Overall good food. We all left with our belly's full and our souls happy. Great customer service.
This place is a hidden GEM!! We’ve been there twice now after a recommended from a local guy who’s been going there for years. Not enough good things to say. 1st impression was because there was a car already at the drive up window, a worker came outside to take our order instead of waiting for us to pull up to the window. Then when we got our burgers (mushroom Swiss for me) I was in Love at First Bite!! Onion rings were really good. Great Fries too! Wish the ranch was a little thicker, but it was still quality. Just quit reading this and go there already!!
Loved it! Good BBQ in a nice setting, wish I could come back here more often if I was in the area. I got the brisket plate with potato salad and coleslaw. The brisket was very good and I really liked the potato salad, very good compared to other BBQ places.
This is my new BBQ destination..small business with deep flavors and a wonderful aroma that catches ones attention. The sliced briskets flavors were tempting and will continue my indulgence with tasty ribs my next time around.
Soooooo Delicious !! Small family owned cafe that is big on Flavor!! The chopped beef is Mmmmmmmm TASTY!! The beans reminded me of how my Dad used to cook them ... Everything was delicious... Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, Food was hot and fresh ... Definately coming back :) 5 STARS AND 2 BIG TEXAS THUMBS UP !!!!
Great place for a great burger or BBQ and watch the jets fly by!
