Best place to eat! I love the food! My garlic parmesan fries and burger was delicious! I ordered my food to go and my wait was longer than expected so they gave me a free soda. Amazing customer service. So glad to have this place in town.
Absolutley the best fish and chips I have ever had. The cod was breaded and cooked perfectly. The flavor was light, flaky and not greasy at all. The tartar sauce is homemade and has mustard in it. Very interesting flavor. I loved it. Do yourself a favor and order the corn fritters for an appetizer. They are a little spicy (jalepenos) but are excellent. A great place for lunch.
Blown away... I was on my way To McDs and saw cars lining the roads near here, and decided to turn around. I am so glad I did. I don't even like fish that much, but this was amazing! I had the fish and chips (cod and fries) with hush puppies and some sort of sauce that I wanted to lick the container clean of. I am so happy right now... They also have hamburgers they look really good, but I think I'm going to have to get the fish every time. Eat here. You won't regret it.
I am a very picky fish eater and loved the flounder. Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. We very much enjoyed our dinner.
My first visit to this restaurant that I have heard much about. And they didn't disappoint. A wide and varied menu offering many tempting choices in seafood as well as other meals. I chose the fish and chips which is their specialty. The serving size was more than adequate. The breaded fish was light and delicately done. Delicious. The chips or fries were average.
I will definitely return to try the other menu items.
Great service and absolutely delicious catfish for me, cod for my husband and flounder for our guest. You really know how to cook fish. Well worth the almost 50 mile drive from Fort Scott, Kansas. We are restaurateurs ourselves and love this place. Simple, easy, fresh and delicious.
If you are in the area and haven't stopped at Cap's yet, you are missing out. Excellent food and service! Their cheeseburgers are amazing! Their fish is always fresh and delicious. They have a great kids menu and even a good selection of home style dinners like ham and chicken fried steak. Seriously good food!
