Remembered this spot from years before covid and it didn't disappoint! There is great outdoor dining on the patio and we got a beautiful autumn night! The Germanic'ish food is delicious and I loved the bread pudding (the menu also has loads of burgers and salad), though so wish they had a more family friendly selection. Service was also fantastic! Pretty great beer menu. Greeted at the door, waited for the table by the bar (not many masks there) and got drinks quickly. Our table only took 10 minutes to get ready, and we didn't get any side looks for wearing masks. This place is even great for families with kids, as there were at least 4 kids there on a Friday night. Everyone was pleasant and friendly, even among the masked and mask-less. Love when covid experiences are positive! Highly recommend!

Beautiful outdoor, private and spacious dining patio and nice pub style inside bar! Decor seems beautifully colonial and tributes to river life and history is in the walls!! Excellent food, changing menu and nice draft selection highlighting local breweries.

Absolutely spectacular experience! This local pub restaurant blew my socks away! Veal speatzle thing: 11/10 highly recommended this mouth watering and delectable meal. The veal was breaded and delicious and exquisite and tender. The green beans were so juicy and amazing. The speatzel was buttery and salty and very awesome. Salmon with the Asian flare: 10/10 cooked perfectly not overdone. Green beans were fresh and crisp. Curry carrot soup: 10/10 the toothsome flavours melted on tongue it had a nice kick to it Chocolate cake: 9/10 very chocolately and palatable and good however not the best thing on the menu but stills delish for anyone trying to satisfy their chocolate cravings after a hearty meal Wine: 6/10 fair not superb but wasn't expecting an extensive wine list in a local restaurant so still good nothing to write home about Blackberry ginger soda: 11/10 absolutely flavorful the sweetness mixed with the carbonated flare really blew me away. It was the perfect drink to wash down the meal. Overall if you're in the area definitely give it a go! The service was so nice and friendly. Was pleasantly surprised and would definitely go again!

All I can say is, “oh my word!” To begin with... covid safety protocols... check! I have never had a menu wiped down and sanitized before my eyes before you are sat at your table. Next, the ambiance.... check! Next, the service... check! Now, let’s talk about the food......... the butternut squash humus is quite literally one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. That is until you eat the beef Bourgogne. Julia Child would slap her momma over this. The strip steak... perfection. If you come to Lambertville or New Hope and don’t stop here, you are missing out on the best food in the area. Hands down, the best food in the area!!! 50 gold stars!!!!

Service was great, the food was delicious, and some of the selections available were different from the last time someone in my party visited. The food is mostly German based, but also included a butternut squash hummus which was outstanding.
