Disclaimer, I'm not a fan of Hibachi, so this review is only for their sushi. Overall, I'd give Arirang a 4.5. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. About as tasty and well prepared sushi I've had anywhere. New York, Volcano, Spicy Tuna, Crazy Dragon, Rainbow, etc. Every roll was flavorful with it's own merits. For shrimp lovers, you can't go wrong with a Rock Shrimp roll.
Prices were typical for Philadelphia area sushi restaurants. The dining room was clean and cozy. Not particularly elegant, but nicer than average. Like so many restaurants these days, staff was short and service was somewhat slow because of it. Not horrible, but slow enough to notice.
Overall, a very enjoyable meal. This wasn't my first time eating here and won't be my last. Recommended for the sushi lover!
Big portions, reasonable pricing. Chef Ben gave really enthusiastic service to the table and we were super full after (not mentioning leaving with two full take-out boxes). There’s an automatic 18% tip for parties of 2 or more but it was still only slightly more than $30 per person including tips, which is a really good deal for a full hibachi dinner. Would definitely recommend.
Can be a bit noisy at times but the atmosphere was really warm

The food was perfect, the atmosphere was amazing. Our chef Mark made it a memorable and funny experience. We then had the luxury of meeting Stephanie, the manager and she was so kind and helpful. We will be returning,
We went on a Wednesday night at around 6:15 PM and did not have to wait at all for a party of five. It was our first time here and everything went well. Michael was our chef and he did an excellent job preparing everything and giving us a fun experience. The food was tasty and plentiful. The steak was tender and cooked according to our preferences. Celebrated my son‘s birthday and would recommend this place. Staff/management checked in on us several times and were very attentive.
Babe and I had a great time at the bar at Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse for a spontaneous date night! Food was delicious, drinks were AMAZING and service was great!! Our bartender Alana was Fantastic!! Make sure you ask for her when you come!!
Hibachi is always a fun way to have a group dinner. Our chef was a little new and a little nervous but kept the vibes good and the food was great. A couple mistakes here and there but it didn't take away from the overall enjoyment. The servers were pleasant and service was quick.

I wish I had found this restaurant earlier in the week. This was my last opportunity to get to know it.
My selection were great, but there's so much more.
I have this bad habit, when servers are carrying food past me, of thinking, ooh that looks good,I should have tried it.
Still I'm traveling back to Chicago tomorrow and only had one visit.
If my job ever brings me back again, I'll be sure to drop in to try out more of those excellent creations.
Nice place. Food was good, felt I got a lot for my money. My only real complaint would be, and it was mostly my own fault, that we went late. Place was crowded so we waited a bit at the grill before being served but overall I would reccomend.
Revisited the restaurant multiple times. Great experiences during the last couple.

Another particular visit, was when I brought 7 other work colleagues, to experience their hibachi table. No reservations were made during that busy night, but Stephanie (manager) was very welcoming and accommodated us onto our table seamlessly. Our chef was entertaining, and the service were prompt. Food was fresh, and flavorful.
My husband and I stopped in and sat in the bar side. The vibe was very relaxing and comfortable red couches. Kyla provided excellent service and even recommended from drinks to food. We were not disappointed with those choices. The portions were big and delicious.
We had an awesome experience! We were sat right away, our server Aan came to our table within a reasonable time, got our drinks and order quickly, and was very attentive. Our chef Alex was amazing and kept us laughing and entertained. Food was prepared perfectly. We are glad that we chose Arirang for dinner. Prices are fair for the amount of food that we got.

I’m giving Arirang 4 stars because I’ve been here about 10 times within the last 4-5 years and I’ve always enjoyed it. I haven’t been before today in about 4 months or so and I noticed changes. No more menus, they’re all digital per QR code. The kids get a chef hat as their menu which was cute. The prices definitely increased. All of that is fine. What I very much disliked this time is that the experience felt extremely rushed and it soured the feel of our family dinner and time. I took 2 bites of my food after the chef had just finished cooking and staff rushed over with takeout boxes, asking how many we needed. I wasn’t even sure at this point as we had just started eating, however, I guesstimated. Every time we finished with so much as a spoon we had one or two staff almost immediately grabbing them. It felt so rushed. I had no space as I had staff in front of me and next to me grabbing things as I was just trying to enjoy my meal and feed my children. Not another 10 minutes later I was being asked what kind of ice cream I wanted. Still not even half way through my food. My kids were also still eating their meal. I answered the question of which ice cream we wanted but said “not yet, in a bit”. Yet the ice cream came out anyway. I had to let the ice cream just sit there a while and melt while we finished eating. Again with staff around us every few seconds grabbing things the moment we were done.
Overall the food was tasty, the staff was polite but I just did not enjoy the feeling of being booted out the door the moment the food was done cooking.
My family and I went here last night to celebrate my birthday and it could not have been more perfect! The ambiance is superb, I highly recommend this restaurant , the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Ask for Steph for your server! She's the best and Stephanie the manager on duty made sure to come over and make sure everything was perfect !
I love this place the chef is very entertaining and the food an drinks are always on point. Looking for a great date night or bday dinner this is the spot. The kids have fun too an they eat free Mon an Tues
