This place. The food. The staff. Everything about this absolutely amazing restaurant deserves WAY MORE than 5 stars! Unbelievably DELICIOUS food with an unbelievably attentive, caring staff! If you're even remotely on the fence on trying this place, jump on over it and go there now! We cannot wait to go back!

Good food & affordable: I had the mac n chs with pulled pork, and the other eater had the hamburger with peanut butter, and we both left satisfied.

This place is awesome! Don't expect a huge, fancy diner. But do expect a small place with amazing food. Family-owned and family-ran, you truly feel the friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The Jamestown Loaded is one of the best breakfast dishes I have ever had. Make sure you grab a cinnamon roll for later, and a jar of their delicious home-made hot sauce.

I really enjoyed my New Mexico Breakfast Bowl. My only complaint with it is it's on a plate and not in a bowl. The Cinnamon Roll was good but had way too much icing. My wife had the Omelette, it was good. And one time she ordered the Philly Steak Melt. It was okay, but they use brisket, not steak. Overall a great place.

Ordered the American Omelette and Texas Breakfast Tacos. The tacos came with 3 perfectly fried eggs with cheese and bacon on crispy corn tortillas. Added chorizo. The house-made hot sauce has a pleasant kick with a great smoky flavor. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff really set this place apart. The space is small but fun and inviting. Highly recommend.

MOST AMAZING BREAKFAST EVER!!! Seriously!!!! I had the New Mexico breakfast bowl. It’s not a bowl. It’s a platter. I could only eat almost half of it. I got it with brisket. Omg!!! Awesome atmosphere and employees. Can’t say enough. Definitely my favorite spot for breakfast!! AND…. I don’t have favorites. Also got a cinnamon roll. Yum!!!!

❤️ Absolutely 10/10 food, made even MORE enjoyable by the 100/10 enthusiasm of the owner (?) behind the counter, who clearly loves what he does. He talks with passion about the food, and it shows in the taste! I got the Jamestown Loaded and was delighted by the wonderful flavor (that, for a change in my overall dining out experience, did NOT smack of typical GFS reheated “food”) The homemade flavor shines through! The sausage was tender, tasted fresh, and was spiced just right. I’m especially sensitive to the bitter taste of expired/old baking powder- no worries here, the biscuits were clearly fresh and made homemade with fresh ingredients. Delightful! I’ll be back VERY soon. (I need to try the fried chicken next!) Highly recommend!! 🙌

Fantastic little place. Amazing food and service. They were really busy but the host at the cash register was really kind. You can tell they like what they do because from start to finish it really was a masterclass in customer experience. Definitely will be back anytime I get the chance.

Small but very lively breakfast restaurant. My go to is the Texas Breakfast Tacos with chorizo. Some of the best cinnamon rolls I've had, the specialty are great but hard to beat the original. And large enough to share. Only issue is the parking lot can be a bit of a struggle to navigate and have had to Street park

This is definitely your hometown local restaurant. They’re cooking is just like what grandma used to make. It may not look as fancy as other places but they put all their effort into cooking the best meals possible. They even checked on us half way through the meal and thanked us personally for stopping by. Don’t miss eating at this restaurant!

Friendly staff and great food. Small space with plenty of nostalgic atmosphere. Tables for outdoor dining too. Comfort food with a touch of special flair so you know what to expect but are still pleasantly surprised. Smoked meats and big beautiful cinnamon rolls. Truly something for every craving. Breakfast served all day. Jones Soda for fountain drinks! Order at the counter then the staff will bring your selections to your table. Dine in or get something to go. You’ll be planning what to get on your next visit while your eating. It’s that good 😋

First time at this popular brunch spot. Seating method is a bit odd, this place is too small for the business it gets. Great for the owners but the dining experience suffers. The food prices were great, wait was extensive and was disappointed that my sandwich came out soggy on one side like it was waiting and fries were limp and not hot. I don't mind the wait as long as the food is right. Smoked brisket is not what I consider smoked, more like braised. (Photo of fries and brisket) A little too much icing on cinnamon roll for my taste, ratio was off because they are quite thin. The buttermilk biscuit looked great. Would maybe go back to try. Definitely not the worst but not the best place in Lansing for brunch. Games while you wait. The service was great and owners appeared to be friendly and loved...had the food been great, it would have gotten 5 stars.
