Great spot in Lansing to have a dinner! Atmosphere was great, service is friendly and fast! And the food was delicious! We had a salad with a steak and Brussels sprouts, and all tasted good and the way the meat was cooked was just on point. It was quite busy on a Saturday evening, but we were able to get seats at the bar with no waiting, so it was nice. Will recommend this place!
Fantastic belated birthday with my parents at EnVie - this place is SUCH A GEM! I had the steak & frites, my dad had the burger & fries (burger/fries/beer $15 on tues/wed!) and my mom had the envie famous bowl with steak, mushrooms, asparagus & tomatoes. Everything came out perfectly, we had very friendly service and the goat cheese appetizer (not pictured) and affogato desert were absolutely wonderful. I can’t wait to go back - might be my favorite restaurant in the Lansing area ❤️🙌🏼
I consistently scope out restaurants before every business trip and this place piqued my curiosity. EnVie definitely lived up to its advance billing. Service was top notch and my expectations were surpassed. If I happen to roll through Lansing again in the future then a return visit here will no doubt be in the cards.
I'm in Lansing/East Lansing, Michigan for the first time and discovered the fantastic EnVie by reading reviews. We had a fabulous time and ate great food. By sitting at the bar I was able to engage with the thoughtful proprietor Lance and EnVie's mixologist Travis who crafted a complex Mezcal Old Fashioned for me. It was a smokey and tasty concoction.
EnVie's eclectic menu will capture the fancy of all, listing both down home staples and gourmet creations. My wife's chicken bowl was scrumptious, and my meatloaf as good as Sunday supper at Grandma's. (Not my grandma, but yours. My grandma was known for her latkes) EnVie's hamburgers are amazing, and have garnered national acclaim.
Cool, upbeat music played in the background, and EnVie has a hip vibe without an ounce of pretension. With its bright, modern decor, EnVie must be a destination restaurant in this area of Michigan. We were fortunate to find it.
Had the best waiter we could have asked for! I wasn't a big fan of the drink I chose (not sweet enough for me) The food was delicious and the cake choices were amazing. We went with a raspberry with cheesecake frosting that was to die for. Definitely a great date place!
We ALWAYS love whatever we choose from the menu! So many great things to choose from. Everything is fresh and delicious and they make a mean Manhattan with Rye for my husband! This time we just split a couple of sharables… the Southern Style Dirty Fries and the Ricotta and Goat Cheese Dip. I couldn’t tell you which one was more delicious!
Stopped by on a Tuesday night with my wife for an unplanned dinner out and we were very impressed. Plenty of options for us vegetarians and each dish was phenomenal. We just kept ordering things to try them and left overly full but we had a great time.

Envie has a lot of potential. Me and my wife have been there twice now and haven't been truly amazed. The food is good for sure but not AMAZING. The atmosphere is phenomenal as well as the cocktails and drinks. I recently had the envie burger which was good but not great, it could be amazing with a few tweaks I feel. My wife really loved her salad. The cheese appetizer was probably the best part and that was really great. The dessert was also very good.
We want to go back to keep trying things.
Went here for dinner and will definitely be coming back! The food was really yummy, cocktails were perfect, and the service was kind and prompt. I also loved the atmosphere - trendy and modern. This is a great, easy date night spot!
Food was awesome and the cocktails amazing. Place is small and quiet which is great. Muriel our waitress was very attentive. We got the short ribs and the Envie steak bowl. Both are amazing!! The short ribs have a 30 minute wait but totally worth it. Only thing I didn't like was blistered tomatoes, but that is a personal preference. Highly recommend!
Very relaxed experience. They wrote us a signed by staff note for our anniversary. Glass of Prosecco on them. Mussels app was great. Entrees were really good! The “famous bowl” was perfect with nice medium steak. Scallops were tender and buttery too! Cacio e Pepe with crab was unexpectedly nice, on the oiler side though! The crab was perfect in it. Our server Zoey was very sweet, attentive, and her service flow was perfect. Drink list is well laid out and the Chenin Blanc was delish with the scallops. Being industry people, this experience was appreciated. We can’t wait to come back!
Visited here for the first time recently as an anniversary dinner. Everything was delicious! I was very happy with the portion sizes for the price. My husband had the crab pasta which was fabulous. The ricotta and goat cheese dip was a great starter, and my whitefish dish was super flavorful. Ended with the peanut butter chocolate cake. Not a bad bite to be had! The vibe was very modern and clean, overall a great night and we will hopefully be back!
Had a wonderfully unique dining experience! First time there; we got the goat cheese starter and it was well seasoned. The cherries gave it a fresh layer and it was the perfect amount for 2 people. My husband and I oredered the steak benidict and the duck benedict (photo below) the flavors were very well balanced and very filling! Sometimes "modern" places have smaller portions, but we left full and satisfied. Can't wait to return to try more dishes!
Nice high end dining. The Seafood Risotto could have had more than salmon bits. Definitely disappointed. 4 shrimp, 4 muscles and one qtip size piece of salmon.
However the Dirty Fries we're amazing!
Delicious good and cocktails at a reasonable price. We found them online to dine before a concert. We were pleasantly surprised. Definitely recommend.
This was our first time here at EnVie and it was nothing but outstanding. These good reviews don't lie. We were seated right away and was taken care of with nothing but kindness and fantastic food. Our dessert and cocktails were also amazing. I couldn't recommend this place more. We definitely will be back.
