Nice place and good staff. Food was well prepared but could have been a little bit hotter. Had the ham melt, and when it came to the table it was a bit cold but still tasty.
Spacious new building just west of their previous location. Open dining areas with some outdoor seating available. Same great selection of food options. Fresh and tasty as always. Reasonably priced for portion size.
Fast, friendly service worth your visit while in Lansing. Today, I had the Italian with Mac & Cheese. The Mac & Cheese was very creamy as apposed to the African American “Casserole Presentation.” Nevertheless, it was a great lunch served outside which is always a great vibe!!
A manager or possibly the franchise came to our table after hearing me tell my elderly mother they were out of the meal she wanted. Not only did he have the dish (he had gone to the store to get it unbeknownst to the employee taking the order) he gave us her dish for free.

The food was good, we got a variety of sandwiches, and soups and they all had good flavor and delivered exactly what we wanted but where they excelled was service. We received a beef chili when we ordered a vegetarian chili, the waitress went back up to check our tab and get us the right items. Come to find out it was a miscommunication and the extra sandwich never got ordered and the wrong type of chili, they were so kind to fix the issue and get us what we thought we ordered quickly and with amazing kindness. Thank you to the staff and team for helping us during a very busy lunch rush!
Stopped in on a Friday evening and was served immediately. First two things ordered were not available (jalapeño bread and wraps) but the jalapeño crunch sandwiches we did end up getting (sans jalapeño bread) were delicious. Eating in was clean and easy.

I've been here twice now. The place is clean, workers are friendly. The food... I had cup of Broccoli and Cheese soup, YES YUMMY 5 🌟 also had half a Chef Salad, oh YES YUMMT 5🌟. I was definitely full when left. I do recommend this place, the portions here are going to fill you up. The choices are amazing. If you leave hungry even on half portions, it's definitely your own fault.
Sandwiches were good, but the sweet tea isn't good anymore. Bummer, because it used to be the best.
I only get the Italian , maybe one day I'll try something different. Always good service and friendly staff. Mustard a lil overwhelming this time but not a huge problem. Love love love the potato salad. ( I rarely ever give 5 stars ).
I didn't get what I ordered, even after confirming what I wanted. The associate was very pleasant. I don't know what happened. I will discuss it with someone at my next visit. The sandwich that I got was very tasty but not what I ordered.

For free refill on a cup of lemonade while waiting in a long line when it's busy is not worth it compared to fountain drinks. Over all customer service is good and place is clean.
