I’m a truck driver and I’ve been drooling over the billboard for the better part of two years, we were coming through Lansing and decided to stop, so glad we did. Very good food, friendly service. Everything was fresh and as great as I’d hoped, we’ll be back as much as we can.
Big John's is my go to for steak and onion sandwiches! No curly fries at this location but they do have the Mac and cheese!
Excellent food and fast service. We like to stop when passing through Lansing or after MSU Football games. The sauce is key.
Very good, as always. Try the Mac and cheese ON the steak sandwich! It's a game changer!
Best cheese steak around!!
Always on point! My only wish is for fries at this location... other than that, Big John is my jam!
Food was very good. Recommend going there over a lot of other places around here.
This is the only fast food I eat. They never disappoint.
I forgot how good the cheesesteakes tasted. I went back to get more the next day, lol. Everything was great!
Best place for steak and onion! A Michigan favorite! Always stop before heading back to Chicago!
Best steak sub anywhere! Wish there was one closer to Detroit!
The food is 5 ⭐️ to me. My problem with it is never knowing when it’s okay to order for a delivery or even to go pickup. I don’t know if it’s the same at all locations but I’ve driven to locations that were supposed to be open and they weren’t, ordered with Doordash and had major problems. Do they just do whatever they want with no oversight? Maintaining hours of service is a big deal especially for a smaller local restaurant chain. I don’t know. I still love the place and their food. Some consistency would be nice.
Edit: also wanted to add getting an actual adult with food service experience to run each location would payoff in the long run. I’ve noticed other reviews mentioning immature staff and feeling uncomfortable getting food.
This is basically a take out place, although there are a few tables available. Sandwiches are great!
