Best Chinese dishes, this side of Lansing, MI. I love every dish I have ever ordered. For dessert, I always buy their Almond cookies. Yum. You should go there.
We have had fantastic service and delicious food every time we have stopped!
Comfortable, traditional Chinese Food place. Not big enough to bring a large party, but good for a quiet family meal.
The food was good for the price. It wasn't anything to rave about, but was filling and seemed nutritious enough. A little too much salt in the soup for my liking, but the veggies were fresh and crisp, and I was happy with my three wontons :)
I ordered wonton soup and Chef Special Lo Mein. (Chef Special is all the meat.) There was at least two shrimp.
The waitress (Who I assume is also the owner) was grandmotherly and sweet. Very attentive.
The best fried rice I have had in ages! So much flavor! It had chunks of chicken. They must have a secret in that kitchen! Friendly and warm people. Fast service. Generous portions. We will be back!
Great food. Service was good also. Orange chicken was crispy on the outside, yet moist and juicy inside. Also had the tasty twice sauteed pork! Home style bean curd was excellent as well. I do not think they use food coloring on some of the food so don't be alarm on some sauces or soups. Fortune cookies were stale but all else was great!
Best time to eat here is during lunch. Otherwise it can be a bit slow. Food is cooked fresh and General's has good flavor. Their soups are clearly made in house with unique recipes. Love the house egg drop soup served with the luncheon menu.

I live right around the corner from this place and go there every time I need to meet someone for work. Its a small inviting place with THE best lunch special in town. You get a ton of food for $5 and the staff is very attentive if you need refills or the check. Its a small restaurant so it works well for a quick business lunch meeting.
Their dinners are usually the same as their lunch special so you lose a little bit of the value there.
Id recommend this place to anyone for lunch or tasty Americanized Chinese food.
My husband and I visited this establishment for our 36th anniversary. It is small and intimate, the lighting subdued, creating a relaxed atmosphere. We found it absolutely delightful! The owner, Mr. Farhat, showed an interest in the customers and the waitstaff was attentive. And most importantly, the food was delicious. We had the Scottish Salmon, which was perfectly prepared.
Fine China was a very pleasant experience. The dining room was simple and quiet for conversation. We bought three entrees and each one surprised me with its full flavor. The hot and sour soup is the best I've ever had, and the egg drop wasn't bad either.
The takeout is fast, usually only takes 10 minutes from when I call it in. I LOVE their honey garlic chicken and their Crab Rangoon, all of their food tastes fresh. The only issue I have is that the inside could use an update, otherwise we would dine-in. I also recommend playing Chinese music instead of the radio. Just some suggestions :)
We started with Hot & Sour Soup and the House Special Soup (for 2). For entrees we ordered Moo Shu Pork and Pork with Garlic Sauce. Everything we had was very flavorful and very good. Our server, Ya, was very pleasant and helpful. The service was prompt and accurate.
We have been coming here for years and the food and service are excellent! We love the chicken with garlic sauce. The cashier/waitress is very nice and remembers us everytime. We drive 30mins to come here and always leave satisfied.
