For a small lunch snack, we were looking for tasty subs and came across this small but very authentic sandwich shop.
Without much expectation, we spontaneously went there after a hike and were thrilled.
Not only do they have a huge selection of different subs, but they also prepare everything fresh with a lot of passion. It tastes simply excellent.
While waiting for your food, you have time to look around in the shop and can discover all kinds of great things and buy second-hand books, films etc.
If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

After living here for 6 years, we finally stopped by. By far, the Sub Shop has the best subs in the area. Everything we tried was absolutely phenomenal, and we’ll certainly be back. The owners are also incredibly friendly. My only regret is that I didn’t stop in sooner.
Hot subs are sooo good here. He works alone so it takes a little time but totally worth it!

Fresh ingredients, great range of options, my Feta Delight was delicious! I will be going back lots. The owner is friendly and interesting to chat with which is great. They even have a collection of Second hand books for sale. Love it here.
First time eating there today and food is delicious, staff is very friendly, and you honestly can not beat the prices! The inside is packed full of stuff - sensory overload - but a hole in the wall place is my favorite!

The hoagies are huge. The ingredients are fresh, ESPECIALLY the bread! I'm from Philly so I know a good sammich. I had the "club" wit Russian and it was amazing. Also tried the BLT wit Russian and it was great. Stop by!
I rarely write reviews, but this place is absolutely delicious. I tried it for the first time today (I got the New Yorker) and it was cheaper than chain-sub shops, bigger than chain-shops, and I could tell it was made with love. I'm gonna be visiting this a lot.
If you love good adventures, give this place a shot. They have some amazing combinations for subs and they are so good. Took my son for the first time and he wants to go back already.

I've called this place for dinner often. I recommend ordering over the phone, then bringing the food home. I think most people do this although you could eat in if you wanted to. Their indoor space is tiny.
They have over 50 subs. I think their prices are just right. Their pizza is just a tad doughy, but it is good and filling. The value of their pizza is perfect. Their calzones are basically their pizza folded in half which holds a lot. They are their own bakery so the pizza dough is fresh, but I'm not sure about the sub bread. I sometimes order whole wheat buns when they are available.
If you're in a quick fix for dinner for 2 try the sub shop!
This place has like a hundred different subs. If you are visiting Cayuga lake this summer Don't miss it. The guy that owns the place is a sub genius. Below average pricing for truly original sub creations. Don't waste your time and have him make a boring original sub. This isn't subway. Pick one from the list. Lansing sub shop should be a part of everyone's summer memories.
Outstanding service. Love the shop owner special made to order sandwiches with a personal touch. He has a wonderful labrador retreiver that is very friendly. I love the old train pictures on the wall. And all the beautiful dolls.
