This place is wonderful and authentic. The staff is very kind and you can tell they work very hard to make sure your food is made perfectly to order, even if it takes a little longer. The food was delicious.
The only thing that hindered our experience was that there was a large group sitting adjacent to us that was absolutely miserable. They were a much larger party, and even though we were seated after them, we were ready to order first and therefore our food arrived first. This was the tip of the iceberg for this large group, who were already annoyed that my group was being "too loud" aka actually enjoying our lunch together. Waves of complaints came one after the next, and they were very rude to the staff. Mind you, the staff is very small and was serving two large groups at once; they were doing the best they could. We made sure to tell the staff that we loved everything, that they were doing a great job, and that we would be coming back. The other group made it clear they would not, and good riddance- they won't be ruining the atmosphere anymore. �
The food was awesome, portions are large and staff is excellent. The potato soup was absolutely delicious and the chicken schnitzel with spaetzle with gravy was a very large dinner; Dens meatballs with mashed potatoes and gravy was wonderful. Our server Lydia was an absolute delight. Definitely will be going back.

We had the most wonderful, delicious lunch! Delicate Weisswurst (veal sausage), hearty Gulaschsuppe (goulash soup -- great on a blustery day like today), Bratwurst and Spaetzle. It would easily pass the "Would my German mother-in-law approve?" test. I foresee a birthday dinner outing here.
Absolutely fantastic German deli and restaurant. Family run, really good homemade German food including house made sausages. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny! Got a bunch of stuff to go from the deli then went next door to the restaurant for a feast!
We called in to place an order for carryout based on recommendations from close family members. What a treat! Authentic and genuine German cuisine prepared better than I've ever experienced previously. I was greeted at the door and I felt appreciated and welcomed by the staff and management (possibly the owners, I'm not certain as it was my first visit). My wife and I ordered two different meals and both of us found the dishes remarkable. There was more food than we could eat so we're both looking forward to lunch today! We will be back! I would rate this restaurant 6 stars if I could.
I had #24 and it was fabulous! It came with a wonderful side salad. The entree had 2 large pretzel dumplings in a scrumptious Bavarian mushroom ragout. Portions are very generous. I couldn't finish my meal, so got to take some home. For dessert I had apple strudel with everything. Heaven. The service was great. I'll definitely be back. Be sure to stop by the German deli right next door.
Very good German food. The Weisswurst is the best I’ve had outside of Germany. Highly recommend making a reservation since the dining room is smaller and the food is made to order. Highly recommend.

The Waiters there are Perfect. Speak German . If go there don't even asked for a Menu .

Wow! This was an amazing dining experience!
The authentic German cuisine here is unparalleled anywhere. The lentils and schnitzel were old world delicious. The cold cut platter was just right as a starter. We also had a chicken fried steak covered in gravy dish that was amazing. The purple cabbage and dark gravy also was spectacular and unique. The service was wonderful and this is a place that you should visit if you're in the St Petersburg area. It's probably a little secret so don't go spreading the word too much just bring friends and family lol jk
Oh by the way I think you can only bring small groups to this as the place is not that large. You might want to plan ahead for your visit. But it will be worth it...!
