Just Like Home!!!. I grew up in Scotland and later served as a Sous Chef in a gourmet Indian restaurant in Houston, TX. So, suffice it to say, my standards are high. This place blew my mind! The food was so good, flavorful and cooked just right. The naan was fluffy and they even served me Kheer, even though it wasn't on their menu. They were very nice and moved quickly, smiling all the way. I have found the ONLY Indian food restaurant I'll go to in Las Vegas!!!
Out of 5 of us we had the chicken, lamb, and soup. All of the dishes were outstanding. This was the first time I had Indian food and has now became a favorite

Food is excellent. The owner is personable and will pour you a drink himself at the fully stocked bar. This is quality, fine dining.
Very tasty. I had a chicken Madras with a pershwari naan.. The madras was very flavorful and well made. I liked the option to choose your level of heat (1-10). I was able to get the flavor of the dish without excessive heat. The service was very friendly and helpful. Overall I had an enjoyable experience and look forward to dining there again..
VERDICT: Indian food in my neighborhood and almost in my price range. I have no idea why Indian food is so expensive. I'm sure it has more to do with supply and demand than actual pricing...I was certain that my joy of Indian food was over, but then luckily Saffron Flavors of India came to occupy a strip mall a mere few blocks from my place. I can go there everyday. Or rather I could, if I could afford it.
I remember trying this place for the first time back in 21 Aug 2015, and since that visit, I've never had the opportunity to revisit this restaurant again, but have been wanting to for quite some time. After eight years, my wife and I finally returned to this restaurant on 22 Oct 2023 and am glad that we did. When we walked in, I noticed that the restaurant was partially under construction (mainly the bar area). I had the opportunity to talk to one of the staff members and was informed that the project should be completed soon. I'm definitely returning when the project is complete so I can see the finished product and enjoy this restaurant's food again. Speaking of the food...
We ended up ordering the Tandoori Wings, Garlic Naan, Mixed Saffron Platter, and Kadai Curry w/Chicken. Although I can't remember what we ordered during our 2015 visit, I can assure you that I have not experienced any poor quality food here (hence our return to this exceptional restaurant). We normally order spice level five for everything and I feel that it is a perfect heat level since I've noticed that as I got older, my body doesn't agree with really spicy food. The flavor profile of their curry is so remarkable and leaves you wanting more and more until you're stuffed.
The service was extraordinary! Our server (I think her name is Marina), and other employees in the restaurant that were assisting with bringing the food out and removing dirty dishes from our table, were very friendly and attentive. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was superb and I really enjoy how this restaurant supports the men and women of the Armed Forces to include its Veterans - it's much appreciated! If you haven't been to this restaurant, you really need to take the time to swing by. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
Our server Carolyn was amazing. I ordered a lamb curry dish. It was good but It needed veggies. I was later informed that I could've added veggies as well. Will definitely be back
A group of four. The waiter was very prompt and efficient. The basmati rice was great with curry coconut chicken. Samosas were tasty with mint sauce. Tandoori chicken was a very tender and good!
Very pleasant dining experience in addition to the food! They didn't compromise to simplify their menu considering how complex the dishes are. All the different curry have a spice level from 1-10 and I think, as a moderate spicy taster, 6 is plenty to taste but not be overwhelmed.
This place is a hidden treasure. Amazing Indian food with top quality and cleanliness. I will stress on the quality of the food. The place has a nice subtle vibe, just like their food. Everything looks great aesthetically. Food is presented well and does not feel like it has a lot of masala/spice. Feels good in the stomach. It’s rare to find such clean indian restaurants. A bit over priced but I guess they have maintained the place well so its worth the money. They also have a bar in the entrance. People who work there are mostly Americans. Customers are also mostly Americans. I’ve been here only once and didn’t not see any Indians at the time. Since it is in the north west region, and a lot of Indians live in the the south west region, they are unaware of this restaurant. But I’m glad I found this restaurant. Heart is happy ❤️🤩
It's been about a month since I been here, but it was good. Me and my friend stopped by for dinner. We ordered the garlic Naan ,butter chicken spice lvl 9 and coconut curry chicken spice lvl 6. These were some fantastic delicious dishes and the spice was on point just how I like it. The garlic naan was fresh and delicious with each dish. The food was flavorful and the atmosphere was delightful and clean. The servers and staff were very friendly and helpful, ill definitely be back!!
Awesome Indian place, still off the radar for most Northwest Las Vegans. Authentic Indian cuisine, halaal for those who care, and extremely easy access off the freeway. Usually immediate seating available. Reasonable prices with quick service. The chef is excellent and the menu is varied. Nice place for a smart casual sit down dinner.
This was a new place for us and we're not that familiar with Indian food. It was delicious! Our waiter was good at helping us choose great dishes. We'll be back!
This place has great food! Becareful if you are not a fan of spicy food. I got the saag paner at a 3/10 and it was spicy (I am a wimp though). The hubs is a chili head and had the kebab plate at 8/10 heat and he said it was spicy but also had great flavor. The mushroom pakoras are fantastic as in the naan. They brew their own beer here too which we tried and were very pleasantly surprised by! Good value, good food and plenty of free parking.
On the way home from early Vegas Golden Knights game looking for something new. Found Saffron in nearby restaurants and looked interesting, glad we did. Interior is spacious and clean. Nicely decorated for Indian ambiance and is much brighter and bigger than it seems.
Food is very authentic, not that I am a big connoisseur of Indian cuisine. There is attention to detail and staff is really helpful. Guiding but not pushy. They even do a home brewed IPA. Having limited experience we tried the mixed Saffron platter. All was good but don't think we liked the ground lamb too much. Also got the Frankie Naan, definitely recommend it, makes the Naan softer but holds together still having bread texture and flavors reminiscent of Italian upbringing 👍🏼. The veggie Samosas were good and liked the red tamarind chipotle sauce to complement.
Looking over the menu I can't wait to try more. Having the owner on premises is nice and willing to share his heritage is highly appreciated. Recommended, go now!
You will LOVE the food, service & atmosphere. Best curry I’ve ever had. Jason was such a great server & provided us with a wonderful experience, we loved him! Would come back 10/10
First ever visit to an Indian restaurant. Won't be my last.
Food was delicious and the service was excellent. I love that they ask for a spice level of 1-10.
We will be back.
Found this place by accident due to freeway off ramp before this exit being closed. They made an excellent first impression. Food and service was great. Drink was just the right size and perfectly mixed. Was the perfect way to finish a day of hiking at Mt Charleston. I recommend for locals and visitors to the area.
So glad to have found this restaurant in North West Las Vegas. I had a favorite spot in San Diego.
The ambiance is beautiful and I love the decor. Our server and all the workers were so friendly.
Food:
• Makhni
• Onion and Spinach Bhaji
• Lentil Soup
• Naan Bread
• Tatziki Sauce
We started with the lentil soup and it's different from any other I've had. It's like a chicken noodle soup flavor. It was delicious. The Bhaji was light, great in flavor and a huge portion. Perfect seasoning. It was like eating spinach chips. The Naan bread was served hot and buttery. Everything was delicious and I was very pleased.
Highly recommended and I will definitely return as often as I can.
