This was a great find while we were in Vegas! Delicious food - all around authentic and flavorful, and the service was truly top notch. We felt welcomed and well taken care of during our meal. We tried Dim Sum for the first time at the recommendation of our server and we were not disappointed! We also had some fried rice and the Angus Filet that had really lovely flavors. I highly recommend making this place one of your stops while in las Vegas!
Decent food... somewhat fusion but mostly chinese, a but overpriced, beautiful lobby staff. The chef know the details of making chinese food chinese, but the dishes are western. Oddly the restaurant was not open on the following wed and thurs.
Fantastic dining experience. Amazing, authentic Chinese food. Sergio, my server, was fantastic. I had the croquettes and Kung Pow chicken. The cocktail we phenomenal too! You need to put this place on your list next time you are in Vegas
Excellent food, wonderful service, and the ambience surrounds you in a traditional Chinese home dining experience. Looking forward to our next visit.
Very good food and atmosphere, one of the better resteraunts in MGM , 2nd year in a row I have been there , food is very good although portions are less than normal , drink prices are a little high, Thank you!
Great food, great service, with the heavenly voice of Teresa Teng in the background...and beautiful hostesses.
Ended up here since asian place we wanted to head to had closed. Started with drinks at the bar as we had to wait to e seated. Folks at the entrance and bar were nice. We were steady close to the performer who was playing the piano and singing the night though all songs were non-English. Our server though adept was trying to be fast and tend to multiple ables at a time so service exactly wasn't the best. Most times she looked rushed and in a hurry to get to the other tables. We all had some miscommunication on the portion and price of dishes so wasn't the most smooth dining experience.
I've been to China Tang twice. First experience wasn't great, just opened restaurant with long queue, not quite attentive staff with a price tag much higher than the old Chinese restaurant in MGM Grand. However, the food tastes really good when I visited Vegas again this year. Still very expensive... 3-4 times the price of "fine-dining" Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong. Well but the quality is better than most in Vegas also. Ingredients are fresh, staff are able to cater whatever you want. You may order food out of the manual. Overall experience, expect the price is great. May visit again.
As a last minute choice, the food was fabulous. Quick ,attentive service, and classy. Many of us were show goers for Jimmy buffet. I felt well taken care of. Wav dishes was as delicious to look at as well as eat. It's pricey, but attention to detail is excellent.
Let’s start with a great service, host, server and bartender.
We tried the fried sea bass, beef with fired garlic, fried rice, and beef dumpling. The best out of all was the sea bass, highly recommended. A little pricy for the small plates, at least $40 per person. But I think worth it
Best Chinese we have ever had! Order hot and sour pork and picking duck- AMAZING!! They care about your allergies and accommodate your order appropriately. Food was fantastic- if want Chinese or are in this hotel, very recommended!
This place is amazing, especially for groups since the food is served family style. I had one of the best meals of my life, and the food seemed to be quite authentic. Above all, the service was absolutely spectacular. I cannot think of a restaurant I have been to that has even comparable service.
Wonderful food in a beautiful atmosphere. We were seated for dinner at the bar where the service was efficient but not at all friendly even after having left a 20 percent tip. We are guessing the bartender understandably resented working Christmas Eve and having to be a waiter instead of a bartender but none of that was our fault.
