Reviews Mackenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub

Located inside the City National Arena. MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub is situated on the 2nd floor between both sheets of ice and has stairs and an elevator available for use. They offer a wide range of beer and other alcoholic beverages. Depending on what's going on at the ring, finding a seat can be a challenge, especially when there's tournaments going on. Those times, it can be standing room only. They seem to run on the leaner end as far as staffing but the servers do a great job covering the floor. There's multiple TVs spread out, so there really isn't a bad seat to games on TV. It sure beats drinking in the parking lot in the extreme heat.

We went to McKenzie River Pizza after getting our new VGK jerseys and watching a morning skate...and man, the food was way better than I expected. I just kinda thought it would be typical franchise style food (Red Robin, Applebee's style food). Nope! This place is very tasty, and we got way too much food, but all of it was really good. There was a poutine burger thing that made me think, "If they can put poutine on a burger, then can I just get some poutine?" And yeah, you can, and it is pretty damn good too. Most places make poutine so badly, I get skeptical about ordering it, but it was good here. The burgers were really good as well. Service was great.

Was visiting from out of town, this is one of our "must go to" places when we visit Vegas. It's a unique experience to have a great restaurant located inside of the Golden Knights practice facility. The Black and Blue Bites are amazing! Like a lot of restaurants, they are facing staff shortages. When we went, there was only one waiter, and the manager was jumping in to help out. We understood the challenges, and they couldn't have been nicer. They worked through the challenges, and did a great job with their service and attentiveness. Gotta say it though - GO AVALANCHE!!

Great atmosphere and food!!! We LOVE to come over here everytime when we are this side of town. Sometime, you can see VGK practicing while we snacking. This place has happy hour also, maybe we'll try next time just for an experience. We bring our friends and also clients here and they love here also. Great place over all!!!

Came in for lunch before the new top gun movie. Must say there was a lot of confusion about what was the restaurant and what was the skating rink for the knights, which was not just for them? We were in a world of lost with not one sign for the place. The staff were great though and the food was amazing! The beer was also far above Vegas standards.

Well hidden gem in Summerlin to escape the heat, find something delicious to eat(so many tasty n original menu items that beat traditional bar food), variety of beers plus incredible cocktails, all that to match atmosphere of ice rink arena viewing. Service was equally as good as my food! Thank you 😊

I challenge anyone to find a more tasty burger for twice in the money in LV. The hand-pressed meat they use is incredibly tasty.... as in punch you in the face with fabulous grilled beef flavor. Will add these comments as well: Very nice decor/setup, especially being able to watch hockey on 2 different rinks, including some pro practice at times. Good well-rounded tap list, decent food, decent happy hour, decent staff. We've been here probably a half-dozen times over a few years & haven't been let down.

What a great concept! We hit up this place unexpectedly on our way out of town for their black bean burger and it was awesome. The kids LOVED being able to watch the figure skaters practice and were so awed! After our burger, we also decided to get a cheese pizza and even that was delicious. What a great find! We had no idea such a place like this could exist in Vegas. This is a great way to hang out and relax with kids.

I walk here from the building next door for lunch on occasion. The street corn nachos are addictive, fresh cilantro, in a big portion which makes it more than enough for a comfort food lunch despite being an appetizer. Service is always fantastic. Atmosphere can be very hit or miss, but it's in an arena, so that's not outside of the realm of expectations.

Great service!! Great Food!! Great Beer Selection!! Hannah was very professional, friendly, courteous and fun to be around. I lived in Bozeman and Mackenzie River was our favorite pizza!! Had the lunch special which offers a choice of starters and choice of main course. It's important to mention that this MacKenzie River Pizza is found inside the Vegas Golden Knights training facility (City National Arena) in Summerlin and it is not allowed to have any outside signage. Enter through the Main Entrance and you're either going to walk up the stairs or to the right of the stairs there's an elevator and then exit and go left down the hall to the restaurant where you are able to sit around the bar or you can sit and overlook the kids playing league hockey in competition or the Golden Knights practicing

A cool place with a great Mountain West themed menu and a one-of-a-kind ambiance. Window seats look out over CNA's hockey rinks on either side of the restaurant, so you can watch some amateur league hockey, or even catch a Knights practice. The food is fantastic, I'm a big fan of their fries!

The food here is delicious! This was our first time after skating and it was worth it. Try the reuben pizza!! Crazy taste of a reuben on a pizza crust and it is delicious. The atmosphere is fun with good music and plenty of hockey on the screens all around. Great place to meet friends for a drink.

5 stars….yeah it’s that good! Alright, I ate at a Mackenzie River Pizza Company in Montana about 10 years ago. I still remember the pizza I ate and the name of the place. When I found there was one in Las Vegas I had to go. Finding this place, yeah I was confused. Our GPS lead us to the Ball Park/Ice Rink. We were confused, so we drove around and couldn’t figure out where to go. So I finally parked and looked for a different place to go. But I decided to walk in. It really is in the Ice Rink. It’s on the second floor and you can watch the hockey games. So cool! The pizza was amazing. I got the stockman with steak on it, wife got the Thai Pie, daughter got the Street Tacos, and the two youngest got the Cheese Puzza. Everyone was impressed. Best part was our waitress. My daughter forgot to ask for no cheese on her tacos. The waitress could see she was disappointed when food came. I told the waitress that it was my fault and to not worry about it. She insisted that it be right! And out came new tacos! Phenomenal service!!

Wonderful food tonight and the best atmosphere. I started with cheesy bread. It's called something else but very wonderful flavors. Enough for two to three people. I also enjoyed some Raspberry lemonade and moved onto the main course. I chose the trio tacos, which included beef, pork, and shrimp. The flavors were explosive and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is amazing for the Vegas Golden Knights, but I came to watch my nephew play hockey at the 14U level. The best part is you can watch games while you eat.

Have been here twice now. Love being able to see the ice from up here. The service was nice and friendly. There was a great menu option. Even as a non meat eater, I had a problem deciding what to pick. Happy hour specials are not shabby.
