The roti they serve is absolutely delicious, and their curry chicken is a true standout. The flavors are just fantastic! One thing to keep in mind is that it might take a while to get your food, so I highly recommend calling ahead. However, it's best to add an extra 15-20 minutes to whatever wait time they mention because they operate on "Caribbean time." But trust me, the wait is totally worth it for the mouthwatering dishes they offer. Another great aspect of this place is that you can come here to party! They play loud music, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. So, if you're in the mood for a good time and amazing food, this is the place to be!

Had a friend take me here one day and loved everything about this place. I'm not familiar with Trinidadian cuisine and honestly don't remember the names of every dish that I tried but all of it was delicious. The lentils, the roti/read, the fillings and the Trini-Chinese fusion dishes were delicious. Lots of vegetarian options and the prices are fair. Good portion sizes. The atmosphere is definitely a hang out spot - there are multiple TVs on the wall to enjoy a futbol match. The upstairs converts to a nightclub and is a whole vibe. I could see this being a great party/event space as well. Very kid friendly, everything is clean and modern. Love the vibrant colors.

Food was spectacular, the atmosphere was right, and service was prompt. From time of ordering to plates hitting the table was 15 minutes max. There was only one waitress, but their POS system was definitely ensuring that the kitchen was getting all the right orders and she read us back our orders. For a filling lunch with appetizers and dessert..less than 50$ including tip. Would return again.

Let me tell ya all, Joy's Roti has always been good, it's been a while since I visited, probably been twice before this but this was way before covid, maybe like 5 years ago. I knew I would have to visit again, because last time the food was great. This time, it was even more better:) I came on Sunday last week, and it was Diwali, so plenty people in and out but inside dining wasn't bad. Decided to try their breakfast options, which included various tings, but I asked for the combination plate. On this plate was saltfish buljol, tomato choka, smoked herring, fried okra ,some mash up eddoe, and more... Ordered a side of bakes and some sada roti with it, everything went down proper, I was not disappointed at all, so much so, my taste buds were craving for more, so I ordered some curry shrimp and goat to take for Ron. (Later-RON) hehe :) get it ? #joke and I had piece of cassava pone too. My dining-in experience for breakfast was great, I will be back again, im sure, the girl that was serving was also very nice, very cheerful, and attentive. Saw the owner walking around as well, kudos for creating a great Roti shop over the years. (Next day: goat was great, shrimp was bouncy and nice) Keep up the good work Joy's, always a pitstop for me when visiting South Florida.

My partner and I visited Joy's after Jouvert this past Saturday. When we got here it was busy but we were able to find seats and order right away. We got two chicken roti's, three doubles, a ginger beer and a Heineken. The food was hot and delicious. The roti was stuffed with curry chicken and came with pepper sauce on the side and tamarind sauce on the side for the doubles. The vybez was good with the DJ outside and the growing amount of people coming in from the fete. We will definitely be back when we in town again.

Went here on a busy Saturday night with more than 15 people. We were seated in no time, with no reservations. Once we ordered, food began to arrive in under 15 minutes. They have Caribbean music playing in the background with life entertainment. Staff is extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The food was EXCELLENT.

Nice and comfortable environment with amazing food. If you love roti, this place serve the best roti in Fort Lauderdale. They have other options on the menu and you can choose how you want your food, either with rice or peas, roti etc. the staff is very friendly and helpful to first time visitors and they make good recommendations far as drinks too. If you love Caribbean and culture music you will love it here. On the weekends they have live DJ and a nice crowd to enjoy. If you never had roti or looking for some good roti try Joys.

Stopped in to eat at Joy's during our stay in Florida. The place was clean, and the food was delicious. The server was very kind and food was served in a timely manner. We've heard great things about this place from our family, who live in the area. We will definitely return here to eat on our next trip Thank you so much.

First time visiting and the venue is a very interesting design. Full bar, I was sat fairly quickly before the lunch peak. I had a double, which was very good. Fresh pressed coconut water and sorrel drink were also very good and fresh. I ordered the Chinese food shrimp and chicken for my lunch. The small portion is enough to feed two people. Waitress was kind and food came out quick and hot. Will visit again to try something else from the menu.
