Came here because a friend of mine highly recommended this place & this place did not disappoint. =)
Used a Groupon deal to get a great deal (because I love deals, who doesn't?? =)
Ordered:
Red Snapper (Grilled): 4.5 stars
Great tasting w/ yummy seasoning but was a bit salty.
Mac & Cheese: 4 sta
This is a beautiful place staffed with beautiful people serving beautiful food. I came across it by accident while shopping for a car in the neighborhood. I was surprised at the breadth of the menu...oxtails. gumbo, and so on along with the usual soul food fare. Sometimes in a small restaurant these
AMAZING restaurant have dinner. Hubby & I went for dinner. I had chicken wings and the size oh my. So, so tasty could not believe it. And three sides fabulous which were - yams - cabbage & macaroni & cheese. I feel more folks should know of Dirty South Soul Food.
The best fried chicken,greens,mac and cheese and yams.Corn bread was wonderful.The place is clean and staff is friendly. If you want good soul food at grear price, this is the place. Now there open 24 hours! I have had several meals here in the last 5 months and will have several more in the near fu
They gotta have somebody's grandma tied up back there cooking. I swear it's that good!!! Great staff and atmosphere too. AND they're open 24 hours now!
Try the fried chicken, the oxtails or ANY of the sides.
I haven't been there yet BUT I can't wait to try it just looking at these reviews!!!!!
