This place is amazing! The menu is huge! I had The Sixth Street! Highly recommend!
My absolute favorite food stop in Lawrence! Between my boyfriend and I, I think we've tried about half of the sandwiches on their menu. And that's saying a lot, they have an amazingly huge and diverse menu, there's something here for everyone. A few of my favorite sandwiches (and my boyfriend's) are the BATH, the hatchery, Chatburn, the philly, son-of-a, and the flying pig. ALSO, if you want a fantastic soup, their flying pig pork slop they make on Fridays is my favorite! � and they have some killer desserts. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this place.
I just had a double grilled cheese with turkey added on and it was the most delicious grilled cheese I have had in a long time. The service is great. Each time I go there I have tried something new and each time I love it. The food hits the spot and it doesn't break the bank with the huge portion you get. I will keep coming here when I crave a great sandwich.

I've yet to have something here that wasn't excellent - their service, food and attitude are all *way* above par! I love pairing the soup and a sandwich, personally - on a cold day, a hot bowl of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich is perfect!
BOMBALICIOUS. I work in Lawrence and like to treat myself to the local cuisine occasionally. Sandwich bowl was recommended by a co-worker so I gave it a try and boy was it worth the trip! The staff was super duper friendly in taking my order and making sure I knew of all my options because, a girl likes her options. Sonafa sandwich with chips and drink was my selection and it was the most delicious sando I've ever eaten. What a perfect fri-yay adventure. Thanks Sandwich Bowl!

This is a treasure in the west side of Lawrence!! Have enjoyed everything I've ever ordered!! Staff is friendly & courteous, always calling me by name!! Great food-reasonable prices. If you haven't been, gotta go & check it out!

The Samoa Cookie Pie was the most amazing dessert I've had in a long time!!
Really enjoyed the quality food! I had the chicken soup and a french dip sandwich. The employees were very friendly and helpful as well! Highly recommend!

Just had a wonderful egg salad sandwich at the new location. Loved the people and the atmosphere. It was an all around good visit!
Drove through Kansas on our road trip and found this cute sandwich shop! I ordered a Reuben, and the bread and everything was cooked just right. So good!! Employee was so friendly, walked us through the menu and made sure everything tasted good. Wish this was closer to home!!!!
We stopped in here on a Saturday night, 30 minutes before close. The woman helping us (either manager or owner I would guess) was super friendly and funny. Sandwiches were creative and delicious. My teens had a blast with the chalkboard wall while we waited. I got a side salad with my sandwich and it was easily twice the size as a take out salad from my local pizza place. Will definitely be back.
Second time visiting Sandwich Bowl today. Will definitely be a staple visit every time I come down to Lawrence. Amazing sandwiches and friendly service.
Post pandemic, and I am able to return to Sandwich Bowl. Excellent sandwiches and soups still abound. I had a taste of the Ham and Beans. And my favorite, the Flaming Pig! Staff remains attentive and friendy. Great place for lunch and dinner. The sandwiches provide a filling meal. And the desserts are excellent too! Not to be missed.
I purchased a piece of coffee banana cake with espresso cream cheese frosting. I don't typically like coffee but love their carrot cake and other delicious foods so I gave it a try. It was absolutely scrumptious, I highly recommend the Sandwich Bowl! Tell Jessi hi when you visit!
Second time being here and the food is just sooooo good. Everyone that works there is so nice. Everyone in Lawrence or comes thru Lawrence should stop by here.
