Took a while for our server to take our order. Didn't ever bring napkins or a straw.
I asked to get my chips and salsa topped off but that didn't happen even though the server days they would.
Did bring my daughter a full to go cup for her drink.
The “3 for Me” deal is BOMB!!!! Honestly, I enjoyed the chips, dip, and fries more than my chicken sandwich.
Layton location: Shout out to Shadow!! Thanks for refilling our drinks and your quick, helpful service. I forgot to order an appetizer (with the 3 for Me), so when we were ready for the check, she had chips and salsa bagged up for me ready to go! So thoughtful!
I have been to a Chili's in a long time but this was amazing. We got the "pick your 3" special or whatever it's called and it was great food and a great deal! You pick your drink, you can do an alcoholic one for more money, then your side and then the main meal. We got the potato soup and Caesar salad and I got the "old timer" burger which was actually really good! My wife got the fried chicken sandwich and the portions were big. The sandwich and burgers even came with fries and they were also very good. All in all it was a refreshing positive experience to an old opinion that I had from years ago. I would highly recommend coming here again, especially over the competitors like Applebee's etc. who are complacent and boring now. Give Chili's another go and get the all day special for 3.
It was ok, just your basic saltly franchise food. They do have some interesting variety when you have a group of people. Late night on the week day if you sit at the bar area, it will be slower since they just had one waitress doing everything from the bars to the surrounding tables.
It’s been about 6 years since I ate here at this Chilis. I have to say the service and the atmosphere at still top notch. Maigan was my server and did a fantastic job. I’m happy to see a lot of familiar faces and the longevity of such an amazing team. This will be my regular place to eat. Thanks for all you do. You’re awesome.
Chili's is a good restaurant but not a great restaurant. I absolutely love the chips and salsa. Margaritas are fantastic. But I've never really eaten anything fantastic off the menu. I would love to see Chili's corporate revamp their menu and come up with better ingredients and options. I do like the simplicity of the menu.
Megan (Friday evening in Layton) is a SUPERSTAR!! She could do and did do everything - mix drinks, take orders, serve, help all her co-workers, etc. You're amazing! Chili's, don't lose her!
The mac and cheese side was to die for. I was in heaven. The ribs weren't fatty and messy, but were so good! I also loved the wild berry lemonade!
Holdon was our server tonight and he was extraordinary. I had 6 rowdy 20 year old employees at a table for 90 minutes for a work meeting tonight and he was a straight up champion. I appreciate his skill and his patience while we did our thing and he did his. It was a pleasure to watch him do his work while we did ours, thanks for doing the most for us Holdon!
The bar area is separate from the rest of the dining area and nice when we're not taking the kids out with us.(all older and not babies anymore) There are glass windows that help keep the noise down from the rest of the dining area. It's good to go on a date or just relax and have a meal without a lot of distractions or annoyances.
The Tito’s Punch, presidente margarita, and buffalo chicken salad were on point! The queso was hot and the side salad was crisp. The server also did a great job of keeping drinks full without distracting from conversation.
There was really nothing off about this visit. I thought it would be slammed since it was New Year’s Eve but the staff was excellent at moving the food and keeping tables turned over.
We lingered for a long while and they never pressured us to leave. All in all, it was a fantastic visit and we’ll definitely do it again.
