Husband and I stopped in Lee on our way to Salem. It was a surprise to us that it was also Founder’s Day weekend so everything was busy. Our server was kind and attentive and the food was great. My husband had the brisket sandwich that was really flavorful while I had the French dip sandwich which was also exceptional. We would definitely go back.

Went there to eat for the first time and it was awesome. Loved the colonial feel and decor…had filet mignon with roasted potatoes and asparagus and it was delicious, filet cooked perfectly. Server was friendly and checked on us multiple times. I will definitely go back.

Been many years since I last had a meal there. Food was superb and the service was excellent. Very reasonably priced too.

We had an early dinner at the Morgan House on our way to Tanglewood for a 7pm concert. We chose the Morgan House because it was conveniently on the way, plenty of parking nearby, and offered a quaint, historic charm that is strictly New England. We were not disappointed with any aspect of our meal, maybe except there too much gravy with the turkey dinner (not a problem for most people). After a round of cocktails we ordered two appetizers, the burrata and the fried calamari. Both were excellent. The mozzarella was perfect and served with greens and crostini. The fried calamari was very lightly fried, tempura style and included a garlic aioli sauce and tiny sweet red peppers that were delightful. The entrees consisted of a traditional turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and stuffing, “crispy” seared salmon on Moroccan spiced cous cous, and grilled swordfish with eggplant and caponata. I also had a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience there. Our meals were quite satisfying and we enjoyed typical New England in hospitality in a very quaint, colonial style setting. We averaged our scores on the food and gave it an overall 4 stars out of 5 stars rating. This inn is recommended, especially if you have Tanglewood in your sights.

I came with my family and we ordered some burgers. There were the best burger we’ve tasted. The atmosphere is amazing plus it has a rich history. It is super highly recommended. We will return to try the rest of their menu.

New to that town. Happy to have found this wonderful place. Friendly with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Now that you know it's a nice place let's get on to the food. Absolutely great food weekly specials well attended fresh everything nothing on the menu we've tried so far has been a disappointment. The bartenders are knowledgeable and willing to create anything that you can describe. That's a good thing for us.

The food was amazing! My boyfriend ordered the Yard burger with eggplant fries; I got butternut bisque and the turkey dinner. Both were phenomenal, the eggplant fries are a must, can’t wait to come back!
