We got there a half hour before closing.. the food came out within 10 minutes! I ordered the Lomo.. my hunny ordered rotisserie chicken! They were both good. The dressing on the salad was different.. almost like a mustard dressing.. the fries were fresh.. the lomo was well seasoned and tender.. the white rice was perfect! The service was good.. they ran out of the dessert I wanted (caramel custard) so we didn’t try anything else.. but I was tempted to try the carrot cake.. but i was full anyways..

Excellent meals, it was busy on a Tuesday night in April! I had the sauteed filet mignon which was fabulous, my wife enjoyed a delicious grilled salmon Amirillo. Large menu with many variations of beef, chicken and seafood.

I wish I had taken my phone so I could share a picture. The presentation was one of the best I have seen. We had swordfish and scallops and both were excellent. Our server was very gracious and helpful and the atmosphere relaxed. This restaurant was a delightful surprise on our Massachusetts getaway.

Amazing food! And wonderful service!! Visiting Massachusetts for a week and wanted to take my Wife to a place we never tried. Came across this cute little place close by to the Berkshire Holiday Inn Oak n’ Spruce. We tried the Lomo Saltado and Pescado a Lo Macho, they both were amazing!! Loved the fries and sautéed onions with the steak in the Lomo Saltado. And loved that there were little octopus in the Pescado a Lo Macho. Definitely would come here if you want something new and delicious!!

We were looking for an open place for dinner on a Tuesday and came here with trepidation because it was empty (but we were also rather early). The food was delicious and the staff friendly and efficient. We shared a beet and goat cheese salad and both had seared halibut. Another restaurant to add to our must-go list.

Really delicious ceviche! The fish soup and the shrimp soup are very bland, but still good. It is a bit pricey - potatoes on the side are 10$!

Thus place was pretty good. I came here with my family and we had a great time. The waitress was friendly and she was very kind. The seafood here was very tasty and soft, the calamari and the yucca was SO GOOD. I think some of the bad things was that the food especially the rice was too salty. It was still good but it would've been better with less salt. The tres leches cake needed to be more spongy, the cake itself was too firm. Other than that, it's a place that was memorable and I would probably recommend it to people.

(Updated Review for 2021) If I was forced to pick a favorite all time restaurant it would be this one, and I have been to a lot of restaurants. Every dish I have tried here has been superb: the Lomo Saltado is my favorite, and is perhaps the most flavorful and enjoyable beef dish I have tried. The new york strip and filet mignon options are both good also. The chicken soup here is exceptional, as is the fried rice, which are both good options for kids. My father always gets the excellent Quinoa and Shrimp chowder. Also try the peruvian limenade, it is a really nice drink and I like to enjoy it with the corn they bring out with appetizers. The quinoa salad is very good here as well. I have been coming here for years, though I live in New York and only pass through Lee very rarely. I wish I lived closer just so I could eat here more often!

Delicious flavorful and authentic. Basic sub shop dining set up but they serve drinks, had a delicious mojito, coconut shrimp was awesome!

Was nice that they offered several cuts of beef for lomo saltado. I prefer a bit of oyster sauce to knock down the soy but very good and the textures were spot on.

So good we came back twice in our 4 days vacation at the Berkshires. The octopus and beef heart in anticucho sauce is sublimal. If you're wary of the original beef heart, their fusion version with octopus is just as good if not better. The green sauce and anticucho sauce is such a great combo. Seafood and fish a la macho with the creamy yellow sauce was so amazing we got it twice. Fried fish with sauteed seafood mix drenched in peruvian yellow chili sauce with rice. You can't go wrong with any saucy dish of Peru. The cilantro green chicken soup is comforting in a cold a day. But the star soup is the fish soup that I've never seen before. Omg.. The fish consomme with fresh chunks of silky halibut was to die for. Very big portion.. Meant for a meal. The only thing I wished I omitted was the pasta since I had it as an app. It also had rice too.. It's a meal in itself. The c seafood paella is not your traditional spanish paella in a pan so don't expect that. But this was the most luxurious version I had. Looked like a giant pile of rice with few seafood on top, until you bite into every scoop of the rice there is calamari blended and scattered throughout the rice! Every bite is a surprise! I like the peruvian dash of pickled red onion and dash of fresh salsa. No burnt rice here like that of a paella pan -whether that a plus or not. Chicha morada.. Get a pitcher. Pisco sour so so. Grilled Steak not my thing but the plaintains it came with.. omg. The lomo saltado night be a better choice. Just go! Great people too!

We were visiting Norman Rockwell and on the way back stopped by for a quick and early dinner. The restaurant opened at 4pm serving the dinner menu. Very friendly staff, although a bit slow, likely because the place had just opened. Food was abundant in quantity and very nice.

Excellent peruvian fare in Lee, MA. The chef owners, Javier and Maribel really cater to quality and freshness instead of quantity. Highly recommended if you would like to venture into the cuisine of Peru. You have tried fried calamari elsewhere, now you should tried the fried calamari appetizer at Alpamayo. It is indeed one of the best I have ever tried. It is served with fried yucas and huacatay sauce (black mint). The typical fried Fish in shrimp sauce with yellow aji was truly amazing. And the Lomo Saltado (stirr fried sirloin with soy sauce, tomato cilantro and sauted onions over crunchy fries) was excellent too. The cheese burger for the less adventurous was really good too.

My wife and I went here tonight for our first time and couldn't have had a better experience. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the woman serving us was so kind. We're absolutely making the 1.5 hour drive again soon! Best meal I've had in months!
