On multiple occasions me and my family have had the good fortune to have Katrice serve us. She was very personable on each occasion. My son joined the ice cream club. Food is good. This location wlis always quick and on point.

I was delighted with my first ever visit at Roy Rogers. The layered fluffy egg sandwich was on sourdough bread two times the size of chickfila. The pirate are thinly sliced. Really great.
Staff tho was very impatient and not pleasant.
This is my favorite Roy Rogers. Friendly, fast service, clean... food is always great. The roast beef & chicken tenders are my favorites. The strawberry shortcake is so good, too..! They also have delicious hand made milk shakes.
Honestly best roast beef and the person jack that was taking my order was great at it so i recommend to anyone who likes chicken
Updated 25 August, 2023. I agree with other reviewers who describe this Roy's as consistent in service and food quality. They keep their regular, posted hours, all of the equipment always works, the dining area is usually very clean and tidy, and the food is always good. No excessive delays @ the drive through. I wish the Roy's in Gainesville was as consistent as the South King Street location is.
Stopped by today, around 1PM. The drive through was not busy, so the wait was very short. The food was fine, as always. No complaints. This particular Roy's is very consistent, which is why I keep coming back. I enjoy going to fast places where I can know what to expect.
I visit this Roy Rogers 3 to 4 times a month. I like the milk shakes because you can watch them being prepared while you are paying at the Drive through. They don't come from a big dispenser. I used to get the Roast beef and cheese but they are hit or miss. If you happen to come near closing time they rell you they are out of Roast beef??? Out of Roast beef! I had it happen to me several times. Just a heads up. If you do get a Roast beef during normal hours it is almost always 5 stars. Service is good employees polite.
The manager was very friendly and helpful when I had an issue with my order. The staff working were very nice and polite. Good trip. Food was awesome.
Don't try calling because they never pick up the phone. But otherwise, they service is great. They are very willing to listen exactly what you want, every friendly about giving out all the sauces and boats/utensils. They will cook it fresh for you and you come back for it in about 25-30 minutes.
This restaurant is the absolute best! This is my second time coming here and both times were pleasurable! The food is always good and hot! The customer service is phenomenal! I use to go to the Roy's on E Market Street because it was closer to my job. But after several times of being spoken to with such rudeness I stopped going to Roy's altogether! After 4 months I decided to check out another location and boom 💥 👌 😀 🙌 this location is on their game!! This location won my love for Roy's back! I would rather go out of my way for lunch to this location!
Delicious fresh beef cheeseburger on grilled bun, and my choice of fixins. I even got a 10% Senior discount, even though I didn't ask for it!
My Grandson likes their food. Their burgers are good and meaty. They taste like the ones we cook on the grill. I myself am addicted to their sausage gravy on biscuits platter. Wish they'd serve some of the items from their breakfast menu all day, like McDonald's does. Of course I'd want my favorite to be one of those items. Their sweet tea is excellent. Not too sweet, just right. I'd go out of my way to get it.
My 2nd time visit Roy Rogers place.I love the Roast Beef and The staff are nice and very polite. highly recommend this place.

Roy Rogers has the best fried chicken of any fast food place, and beats the sit-down restaurants, too. Service is fast and the fried chicken is hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned every time at every location. My mom goes for the Double R burger and the fixins bar (all the pickles you could want!) but it's the fried chicken that's the real star. The fries are yummy, too.
I heap this same praise upon every Roy Rogers to which it applies -- and so far it has applied to every single one.
I could not be happier that Roy's is making a comeback! To my tastes, it's the greatest fast food restaurant of all time. I could maybe do without the overly sappy country music playing at every location, but the music is really only noticeable in the restrooms, so not too big a deal. Note to the head office: bring locations to Arlington & Fairfax, Virginia, and to Baltimore.
Note: It's 5 stars given its category. That is, it's not a 5-star restaurant with linens and a wine list and table service; it's very definitely a fast food joint. But for a fast food joint, I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
