The food is amazing. I've been here twice now and every time it's been impressive. The atmosphere is very nice and open, especially love the upstairs balcony. It's open and a nice soft lighting. Makes me feel like I'm in a nice light for a night date. The service is amazing and very kind. The noodles were done el dante and the shrimp I had in my Garlic shrimp pasta was perfectly cooked. The tomato soup was rich, and very savory. The salad was fresh, nothing brown or old and the ranch was good as well. I absolutely love this place. They mix their adult beverages well. I would suggest the restaurant themselves also give a drink menu to the customers with the regular menu, as the amount of drinks they have is more than what is one the main menu. One adult drink I absolutely loved was the hot chocolate with a chocolate liquor in it.
Bona Vita was super accommodating for our large group. The food was extremely delicious and full of flavor. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend dinning here.
Wow, if you haven’t been hear before and are a ravioli fan…do yourself a favor and get the butternut squash ravioli! The Chardonnay creamy sauce with sautéed mushrooms and onions gives it a beautiful sweet flavor. Only reason I gave the service a 3 star is because we waited 35 mins for food, which was way too long for us.
Ordered the meatball sandwich with the creamy tomato soup. The soup was the best tomato soup I have ever had, absolutely amazing! The meatball sandwich was really good too! Conner was super helpful. The only thing I would say about the atmosphere was that it was really loud, but not much you can do about that and it wouldn’t keep me from coming back again.
Their chicken Parmesan is my favorite. They use the Alfredo and red sauce, which just makes for an incredible meal. The bread here is AMAZING and the vinegar/pil combo just hits the spot.
Some of my friends ordered the pizza which was really thin and they didn’t love it. So I would not recommend that but their pasta is incredible!
Second time in, ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich and was not disappointed. Initially forgot to ask for no peppers as the taste can be a little much, but gave it a try and was surprised at how well balanced the flavors were. Thoroughly enjoyed! Husband ordered the Ravioli Formaggi and was very pleased. Our server Sandi was quick and attentive, and the food was out shockingly fast. Can’t wait for our third visit :)
The first thing I noticed when walking in is the lighting! It was very unique and compliments the space very well. As for the food, I had the sausage ravioli and loved the just right amount of spiciness. I wish the sauce had more flavor though. The waitress was fast at getting our order and the food was hot and came out in a timely manner. My cohorts with me at the table said that they wished the salmon had more citrus but that could be a personal preference and the other felt the food was good but nothing special.
I am giving this a four because finding an Italian sit down restaurant that isn't a big chain can be difficult and because I am willing to try it again with another dish to see if I like it better. Plus the bread at the beginning was fantastic. 👌
I got the gnocchi, super good! The appetizer bread and olive oil dip are amazing. Met the owner, absolutely great guy. Highly recommended!
First time there. I had the lasagna which was good but I've had a lot better at other places. It needed chunkier Italian sausage and beef; and the red sauce needed more flavor, more spices. The red sauce tasted like it only had a little salt in it with no other spices...I've had a lot better bread too at other places...My cousin had the salmon which she said was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Took the wife here for our anniversary. The hot chocolate and bread were awesome. The wife really liked the glass mug it came in. We had a spicy shrimp/pasta entree which the shrimp were excellent but the pasta was bland. It was not spicy at all, which was fine we just thought it would be more flavorful. I had the chicken Parmesan which was decent. The chicken was lightly breaded and not greasy, the red sauce had a good flavor. The service was most excellent, we had a reservation, and went at the beginning of the dinner rush. We were seated immediately, our drinks never got more than half empty and service was prompt. We did get a cheesecake which was moist, topped with a rich chocolate, and some sort of fruit. Overall we were a little disappointed in some areas but well pleased in others. We might try it again after awhile.
My wife and I have been to Italy and love the people and the culture, but we especially loved the food. This restaurant has been the closest to authentic Italian food that we've found in Utah and we both loved it! The atmosphere is exciting and we love what they did with the interior decorations. But the food was excellent, they did a fantastic job keeping it as authentic as possible. I hope to go back soon!
