I am in love! The Chicago deep dish pizza is amazing! Plus the Elephant ears for dessert! This is my new favorite pizza place! The owner was so inviting and friendly! The staff so nice! I will be back with more friends! A must go for all!

If you're looking for a great Chicago style pizza with a unique and vintage environment then look no further than Piccolo's. It took some time to get the food but the wait was well worth it. We watched it as they spun the dough for the pizza right in front of us. The spaghetti was absolutely delicious, the pizza was so fresh with the best ingredients. Throughout the restaurant there was all types of memorabilia from times past from Coke Pepsi gas stations and the like. It was such a fun place to walk around and take the trip down memory lane at the treasures from the past. We were able to speak to the owner who told us "everything is for sale". Don't dare order blue cheese dressing with your salad or you'll quickly be reminded of what style restaurant you are in. The owner came out and had a lovely conversation with us getting to know us. I'm a collector of coke machines and he was trying to buy mine which I got a kick out of. We each had something the other wanted as far as memorabilia goes. He was just a lot of fun and made our experience even better as we felt like VIPs.
I cannot say enough about how delicious the food was and how huge the pizza turned out to be. We took enough home for two more meals.
This is a definite do over every time we coming to town, this will be on the top of our "must dine at"list
The pizza here is absolutely fantastic. Whether it’s a thin crust pizza you are after, or you want the thick and cheesy deep dish, you’ll love what they have to offer here.
Also, try the cheese bread as an appetizer. So good!
The food was good as always. Service was fast. The staff was very friendly. My go-to spot when I want a delicious pizza. If you haven't been here, check it out. It's located in an old drug store and is decorated with cool old advertisements and antiques.

What a cool pizzeria. When you walk in, you see all these great memorabilia. Then you're greeted by the friendliest owner/staff. They talk with you while you wait, know EVERY regular (which was adorable to watch), and even offer you a drink if you have a bit of a wait. And the wait is well worth it. Ordered a Chicago style and they gave me a beast of a pie. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. I'm just visiting but will make sure anytime I'm passing through I will make this a must stop and eat!
The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere blew me away and the owner was simply the best. We got the margherita pizza and baked spaghetti. The portions were huge and it was the best pizza we have ever had. The owner made us feel like family and he even sold me some of the incredible antiques he had lying around. If you are looking for great food and atmosphere at a very fair price this shop on main street that has been there for over 46 years is a must.
We went out of our way on the way back to Virginia to grab some of this pizza. It was well worth it. The owner was incredibly friendly, and the pizza/pasta was probably the best we have ever eaten. Will 100% be back here next time we are in the area.
My bf and I came here for a lunch date. We walked in having no clue where to sit or order. A man who works in the kitchen explained the entire menu and how to order to us, and honestly, it was really nice. Once we ordered, the man that took our order explained that someone would bring the food out to us once we sat at a table, and we were given a number. We got 2 small pizzas and a side of pizza bread. Everything was amazing, and as we were leaving, a worker asked how the food was. When we responded with how great the food was, he laughed and said, "You'll be back!!" 🤣 we definitely will, lovely restaurant to go to and great environment.
An absolute must try if you are looking for an outstanding Chicago Style Pizza. As someone who loves pizza, I had to try their Chicago Style Deepdish. For a first time of this style pizza, I was left with a good taste in my mouth. It is all the right amount of sauce to crust to cheese ratio. I am excited to try other menu items. Good price points and wonderful range of menu items.

What a wonderful spot! The owners are great! They know everyone and are obviously a big part of the community. A local brought in 2 license plates that he acquired many years ago. They were (and still are) registered to AL Capone. He gave them to the owner to add to his amazing collection of antiques and memorabilia. I should also mention the deep dish Chicago was absolutely incredible! We will definitely be back, as often as we can! A true gem of a place!!
This is their MOST AMAZING Chicago style pizza EVER! Authentic and beyond your expectations. We drive an Hr 1/2 to get this pizza. The other one is in Chicago. They bake the bread fresh every day and everything served here is just wonderful. The owner and staff are the BEST!! If you want the best Chicago style pizza, or Italian anything else come visit Piccolo’s in the little town of Lenoir NC. You won’t be disappointed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is the absolute BEST pizza I have ever had! I love the quirky environment. The staff is very down to earth and friendly. I will absolutely visit every time I’m in town from now on! Try the Deep Dish with pepperoni and fresh mozzarella. I dare you to find better!
