We were in Lewiston to catch a show at Artpark but we needed to grab some dinner first. We chose Cask and Cow based on reviews and the delicious sounding menu. We were not disappointed.
Upon arriving we noticed that there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, always a plus. We were then greeted by a staff member who seated us promptly and got our orders in. We were pleased to see that they have a nice big menu, lots of cocktails and specials. I started with a Paloma because, why not? It was delicious and not too sweet, a perfect summer drink. For our meals we figured we had to try their burgers because there were so many and the combos all sounded outstanding. First of all the burgers on their own were delicious! Perfectly cooked and seasoned and the right amount of generous toppings. My significant other picked the hot tempered Elvis which he said had such a good combo of cheddar, caramelized banana, bacon, jalapeños and peanut butter! He said the salty and sweet with a little kick of jalapeño was unique and perfect. He added that even the roll was delicious and way above average. I tried La mucca and it was wonderful. The mozzarella, prosciutto, roasted red pepper and arugula were the perfect light Italian inspired toppings for this yummy burger. It was nice that they can accommodate vegetarians and gluten free diets with menu substitutions. They also had sweet potato fries so it was an all around win. Great service and decent prices rounded out a great dinner. When we come back to Lewiston we will absolutely go back.
After visiting the rapids, we stopped for a late lunch. That was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The roll was crispy and the meat was cooked perfectly.

Amazing burgers and chips - even the gluten free buns! Would love to give 5 stars but feel prices are too high on "extras" ($2 for broccoli but you take away the chips too? $2 for a GF bun?), turning a hamburger (lettuce and onion only) with chips and a pickle spear into a $20 cost.
Edit: Just noticed the comment from manager/restaurant and love the fact they take the time to engage with customers. Also, I want to somewhat amend my comment on price. As I realize costs at this point as well as changing times throughout pandemic, these are things to take into consideration. Realistically you can't get a meal at a drive thru for less that $10 and the quality is... what you expect. At least at brick and mortar, locally owned businesses with known high reputation you know you're getting what you pay for.
Also, while the menu items I mentioned below are no longer available I ventured out and tried their pepper dip and it is hands down the best dip I've had regionally. Also, for the extra couple dollars for extra pita, they LOAD YOU UP! thank you!!! :D
Ordered takeout here one night. Was right on cusp of being too late but since I was ordering three appetizers they were super accommodating and assured me they would always be as well. Was a bit pricey, almost $40, but the portions were fair and the food was good. Will definitely return and it’ll be sort of my occasional special treat, especially the Buffalo cauliflower and asparagus!!!!! Also good to know veg options, although I’m not vegetarian many of my friends are.
We ordered 5 different appetizers to split and every single one of them tasted amazing. Highly recommend the dill pickle flatbread- you won’t regret ordering it!
