I have been coming here for 25 years and the pizza is always delicious and the same guy has been taking my order with a smile for all of those years. We always get the Royal Feast, and it is always loaded with toppings, smoking hot out of the oven, and delicious. I would always recommend eating your pizza there instead of getting it to go. When you get it to go, it steams in the box taking away the crunch of the crust. Don’t get me wrong, it is still good, but nothing like it is fresh from the oven. We have tried all of the other Sir Pizzas in Lexington and none of them taste the same as this location. I wander if they use different ovens or something at the other locations. The only draw back to eating here, is that nothing has been updated in years. As a matter of fact, I have not seen any changes in the entire 25 years that I have been coming here. This place looks like it is straight from the 70’s. My family always jokes that we are rolling the dice with food poisoning every time that we come here, but in fairness we have never had any issues in all the time we have been coming. If you want a fat unique pizza for a reasonable amount of money and you can look past the decor, I would say definitely give this place a try! Pro tip - they always run an unadvertised special where you can get any extra large pizza for the price of a large. All you have to do is ask for the deal.
Had ordered three eight inch pizzas. One pepperoni, sausage, and a veggie feast. It was so friggin awesome. My girlfriend, sister and her fiance were with me and we all loved it. Great leftovers too. Can't wait to come back.
I love, love, love this place! I have been a customer for almost my entire life. My mom took us there when we were kids, and it was so cool because you could place your order from the table! To explain, every table had a landline phone installed! Years later, my live for Sir Pizza continued, when I turned 16, I worked as a delivery driver, and on weekends over the summer and by college, I would meet my friends at Tony's arcade and then partake in a pitcher and 🍕. This would continue of course I would choose Sir Pizza for lunch and Pizza Nights. Later when I had to move for my job, I would be sure to visit my favorite Pizza Our place, whenever in Lexington.
Yes, the food is that fantastic so 5 stars for the food!
The service however is not the same, the super friendly people are gone replaced with people who make a good pizza, but don't seem too happy to serve it. So my review is strictly about the food, it still tastes just like it used too 45 years ago, and that is impressive!
While I am sure that their carryout and delivery business is strong, the dining room is just empty..and that place used to always be packed.
The original owner moved to Michigan and opened fine dining establishments to that serves...you guessed it, pizza, among other things! I will always be a customer, because this place is like home to me.
Sir Pizza is delicious and the folks who run this location are wonderful. Would give them more stars if i could. Very nice man who operates this place.
Went in party of 2 around 9:15 pm to dine in on a Saturday evening. Ordered a Pepsi and a salad (which was super fresh and cold, very crisp) and an XL Hawaiian BBQ pizza. The pizza came out piping hot, the toppings were not skimped on and the older gentleman taking care of our table kept our drinks filled and even helped me box the leftovers. I definitely recommend checking out sir pizza! Nice quiet place, food was A+
Easily one of the best pizzas in Lexington. Their fresh toppings are piled thick making the result a delicious classic-style pizza. The square cut pieces are a nice touch, making leftovers much more manageable than usual.
Their salad was a delicious old-fashioned chef salad, with plenty of protein and dressing to make it quite hearty.
The price might seem a bit steeper than others, but they regularly have coupons and specials that negate this.
