Top of the line service, the wait staff make you feel like you’re part of their family. The wine and beer selection is amazing, the brisket is tender, and they even threw in a side of black beans that they don’t have on the menu. An experience at Dorys just for the wait staff alone is worth it.
We spent a few days in Lincoln City and found the absolutely best food, service, and value in Dory Cove Restaurant! The four of us agree that it was both the best dinner and breakfast! Yes, it is busy, but that is because it's great. We were seated quickly both times, and the wait-staff were prompt, attentive, professional, and yet personal/friendly. I ordered Surf&Turf one night and 2-egg special once for breakfast. Both meals were delicious, hot, and well plated!
This was truly the most enjoyable dining experience I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was cozy. They played 50s/60s music the whole time. And the food was incredible! Truly the best clam chowder on the Oregon Coast. I enjoyed the Salmon Melt and it was delicious. My husband said his steak was perfectly cooked and textured, and the two pieces of cod were thick and juicy. The Smoked Salmon Spread was DIVINE. 100% recommended and we will be back.
This place came highly recommended and now we see why! The service was awesome, very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and the portions were huge! Well worth the money, and we had leftovers for the next day. The clam chowder was awesome, and I had the chicken fettuccine and my son had the crab Mac and cheese. All of it was incredible. Save room for dessert, huge portions!!
Went to Dory Cove twice during a visit to Lincoln City. The food is always delicious! Generous portion size and quick service once seated.
We always hit up Dory Cove multiple times when in town. All their food is top notch but their clam chowder is hands down the best around- thick, creamy, depth of flavor and so so many clams!classic! Pictured is the Clam Chowder, Dungeness Crab Mac N Cheese and Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo!
Went for breakfast and tried their breakfast special. I will tell you, you will not leave hungry. The pancakes were huge, light, and fluffy! Bacon was cooked just right. Ordered a side of red potatoes, and it was balanced with onion and peppers. They checked on us frequently and filled our drinks regularly, without asking. I will be coming back to try other menu items! The other diners' food selections looked so yummy.
As we stepped into Dory Cove on a blustery, rainy day along the Oregon coast, we were instantly enveloped by its warm and cozy ambiance. The energy inside was buzzing yet comfortable, with the excitement of college football playing on the TVs adding to the lively atmosphere.
We were greeted by friendly servers and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately, despite it being lunchtime. It's always a delight when a restaurant combines great service with a welcoming environment.
The star of our meal was undoubtedly the bowl of clam chowder. It was a perfect choice for the chilly weather outside. The chowder was flavorful and comforting, with a generous portion that was more than satisfying. Accompanying the chowder, the Parmesan toast was a delightful side, adding a nice touch of crunch and flavor to our meal.
I had a great time here. The Halabit was incredible. The building has obviously been added onto, so the restroom is a little difficult to find. Just ask the the staff for directions to the restroom. A family member said that they liked Salman.
The clan Chowder is a must. So yummmy.
Service was fantastic. Never had to ask for anything.
The Captains plate was good. So filling
We shared the plate between 2 of us, and it was perfect amount.
