You wouldn't expect that Lincoln City would have the best Thai food - but Best Thai was so delicious! The environment is calm, the service is attentive and friendly, the easy listening music in another language (presumably Thai?) adds a nice touch. The Bowl of Shrimp is phenomenal. It's like a hug inside my belly. It's what has been missing from my culinary life for the past 40 years. Highly recommend!
If you look for a restaurant while traveling, not in the neighborhood where you live, you will only rely on people's reviews, but it's also a personal preference, so there are many cases where you will be disappointed unlike reviews, so as soon as I entered the restaurant, I checked if the chef was Thai and sat down. I ordered chicken Satay as an Appetiser and it tasted good, so it made me look forward to the curry and Tom Yang Kung soup I ordered. It tasted great and was close to the authentic taste. I highly recommend the transplant party, so don't worry and stop by and enjoy delicious food.
The temperature of Tom Yang-gung soup was a little less hot, and the table on the table looked a little old, so I only gave it 4 stars, but please note that the food tastes very good. When I go to a Thai restaurant, Ialways want to order a lot of things, but I put up with it, so I'm going to visit one more time and try Pas Thai and other food.
GLUTEN-FREE MENU ITEMS!!! Unlike so many places in this charming small town, Best Thai has gluten-free options printed right up on the menu, so you know they are truly gluten-free! And guess what, it tasted great. Lots of seafood, it wasn’t just on top but throughout the dish.
Great ambience. So many places to sit. I chose one right by the window to watch the traffic go by on the Coast Highway.
Attentive staff, yet unobtrusive. Perfect server in my opinion! She’s really good at her job.
Restaurant was clean and had a public restroom.
For a perfect evening stroll, go up the hill a bit to Bob’s Beach books and the record store. Rounds out a perfect evening.
Pretty nice place and enjoyed my time. The Pad Thai was a bit sweet but the tofu I got in it was very good so I had no problem getting it down. The crab fried rice was also very good and not skimping out on the crab. The pork buns we got for an appetizer we're steller as well so would recommend those.
The evil jungle prince curry is really really good and I haven't found it anywhere else. I asked for it a little extra hot and they nailed it.
Gluten free options are here and they handled that well.
The only thing to complain about is the server never checked on us or got us refills even though it was slow.
If you come for the food you'll be very happy.
Searched local restaurants while travelling through and found this Gem 💎
Wonderful tasty food and gentle staff 👍
Good food and decently priced. The server was great and asked all the questions I would not have expected when I mentioned I wanted tofu (I'm not vegetarian, but the question about eggs being okay was surprisingly apropos). The spice measuring could be adjusted. Their 4 for heat is what I would consider a 3. Atmosphere was that eclectic mix I have found while traveling overseas. Others might not understand it.
literally stayed open a tiny bit late to feed us on Sunday. and it was the best thai food we have had. the seafood was tremendous. the service was quick and kind. Thank you from our family.
They were busy when we arrived. Our waiter was fast, thorough and friendly. We kept him busy with all the Boba Tea drinks we ordered.
The new Covid-19 restrictions- Right now seating parties cannot be more than 6 people. If you have more than 6 you must divide your party and sit at different tables. Food is all served in to go containers.
We spent just about $200 at this Thai restaurant. We love Thai food and having Laotian in-laws we eat Thai food all the time. We felt the flavors weren’t the most authentic, very different flavors. The lemongrass chicken was covered in Peanut sauce and we could not taste any lemongrass. We thought we received the wrong order but that is how they prepare lemongrass chicken. We ordered Tom Yum- and it was more sweet than spicy, not bad though. Sticky rice is delicious!
Note: behind the building there is a sign in the parking lot “parking for Best Thai only” this means only for Best Thai employees, not customers. Parking is across the street. We were notified to move there when we arrived.
Overall it was good.
Good food, came out at different times tho for the same table, and inconsistent spicy level but overall really yummy and the best Thai in Lincoln City

On our trip to Portland. We stopped by Lincoln city looking for Thai food. We didn’t expect much but came out way better than we thought. It’s so tasty clean and fresh. All the staffs was so happy friendly. Recommend for everyone😊
Menu recommended: papaya salad, PAD WON SEN, LARB , eggplant 🍆
Everything in the menus I assume😁
Ordered the garlic chicken. Yum! This place stays busy, so be sure to call ahead for your order. Inside was open but noone seemed to stay to eat, several takeout orders came while I waited for my call ahead order.
Will be back!
Great location, as soon we stepped into the restaurant there was an line already which shown us it was a great restaurant, the restaurant was filled with locals. Meal was delicious filled with fresh cut vegetables( the CRAB PUFF AND THAI ICE TEA WAS DELICIOUS )and great customer service. However, all dishes we ordered we wished it was more spicy or at least extra spices available for our own choosing and less oily and they might want another worker in the front, I can tell she was stressed BUT she did a great job with our order and making sure everyone had the right dish.
Good Thai comfort food ran by a mom and son team. Food is flavorful and fresh. We always stop by here after a nice beach day down the street.
We had the best lunch in awhile there!! The food is Thai authentic and really flavorful! We had the Tom-Kah soup and Drunken Noodles… just wow! We’ve top that with Papaya salad that was spicy (as we’ve asked)
All the food is served in to-go dishes due to COVID. In fact. I loved it!
I would recommend!

The building is unassuming from the outside but inside its clean and cozy and very tastefully decorated. Staff is friendly and the Pot of Shrimp is a must have! 10/5⭐️
