We stopped here on a whim after a day at the beach. I was extremely pleased to find that they also had a vegetarian AND vegan menu along with the normal menu and it wasn’t just some weird thrown together item. A variety of delicious choices to choose from. 1 side was vegetarian the other side of the menu was vegan. I got the vegan
“Fish tacos” (tofu) and they were amazing. It also came with a side of vegan black beans and Mexican corn soup (also delicious). I’d also like to mention that the food was presented really well on the plate too, more like something you’d see on The Food Channel. My party of 5 all got something different and no one was disappointed with their meal. The portions are good sized, food is amazing, service was good. Owner came over and talked to us for a while. He was extremely polite and asked how they did on the vegan meal. If your looking for good authentic Mexican food in a seafood town, this is the place. Be prepared though for a true sit down meal and the cost ($10- $15 ea) If you’re on a Taco Bell budget...this place isn’t for you.
This is the most wonderful Mexican food you can ask for. The fish tacos are delicious and the margaritas so very fresh. The owner cooked for our group even tho he was closing. Tell all your friends! This guy will serve you a meal to remember. Plus, he has decorated his restaurant with his own wood carvings. Increible!!
Amazing sopa de mariscos! Seriously some of the best I have ever had and I've been to my fair share of Mexican restaurants. Well designed menu. Many vegetarian & vegan options. Great atmosphere and decor. Friendly Service. Looking forward to seeing the additions they make (beer, cocktails, new menu options).
Best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time. Highly recommend everyone share and check it out. Awesome family owned place, Marco is a great guy!
Ate here twice so far and each time it was perfect. Tried their pineapple fajitas, enchiladas, and burritos and they were AMAZING! Everything is so authentic... the best Mexican food on the coast. Staff is so friendly and on top of things.
Fantastic place to go and have a lot of fun on my last night in Oregon!! Drinking tequila and singing some oldies!! The bartender was great!!
Such an amazing place! The food and drinks were very fresh and delicious! I love the creativity and thought put into the dishes and I love the fact that the mixed drinks are made with fresh fruit, not overly sweet mixers. The server was extremely friendly and helpful when ordering, not to mention the owner Marco who takes such pride in making sure his guests are happy and well cared for. Definitely our favorite Mexican restaurant in town!
Great food, great staff, give this place a try on the Oregon Coast!
A must stop for Tequila!! Largest selection I have seen by far! ... and the most delicious Carnitas tacos
Great food, wonderful service - you won’t be sorry! Mole and pineapple fajitas are a must!
Was travelling down the coast and we stopped in and had the most amazing food ever! You won’t be disappointed

It's after 7 on a Sunday night in Lincoln City and you're hungry. Half the restaurants are closed and the remaining are slammed with people as a result. You've already gotten your fill of seafood, burgers don't sound great so what are you left without? Well, we saw this place was open until 9, so we chose to check out tequila Blue Aguave.
The first thing you should know about this place is that it's HUGE! Ample space for groups/families etc. Even if it were busy, you'd probably get a seat. It's clean and got a nice colorful and vibrant decor and atmosphere.
We ordered the pastor pineapple fajitas and fish (cod) tacos to go.
The pastor pineapple fajitas ($24.95) were recommended by the guy manning the front and from what I've seen from other reviews, this is what they're known for. And I'm happy to say it definitely delivers. There's sour cream, refried beans and guacamole to dress up your fajitas. Fantastic flavor with sweet and decent spice but not overly spicy. It was really delicious! My only gripe is that we only were sent home with three flour tortillas and that's just not enough for this plate. This dish could easily feed two people. So if you get it to go, request additional tortillas.
The fish tacos ($12-$15?) unfortunately paled in comparison to the pineapple fajitas. You can order them breaded or grilled and we opted for breaded (which when getting food to go, especially fried, might've been our mistake). The fish was mushy and flavorless. We ended up adding the pastor to the the fish to try and give it some flavor. There was plenty of nice additions like avacado, rice, Pico de gallo and black beans to accompany it, but it didn't save this poor fish dish. My recommendation if you've got a hankering for fish tacos is to get them grilled and get the pineapple fajitas as a backup.
The service was fast and friendly. Only took about 15 minutes to get our food to us and they even offered us water while we waited. Really nice people working here.
Overall tequila Blue Aguave is worth checking out if you want decent Mexican food with their the standout dish being the pineapple fajitas. I'd would be inclined to return solely for that.
Everything authentic was tasty. Ground beef tacos were a little too American (unseasoned). Service was great. Warm chips and salsa verde were very nice.
Hands down my favorite restaurant of the weekend!! We had a few questions about the menu and all were answered by the amazing Marco! Not only did he come out and make us feel beyond welcomed but he helped so us some of the favorites on the menu! Beyond satisfying and delicious! Upstairs there's a banquet room for larger group parties that's equipped for a buffet, dj and bar! Throughout the whole place is Marcos hand crafted wood carvings which he very proudly showed off! Not only were we blown away by the taste and service of this place but also the atmosphere and camaraderie. We will be back EVERYTIME we come to Lincoln City!!
Just checked out this restaurant yesterday. Totally Loved it! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful lunch. The restaurant is huge & beautiful. The atmosphere & design, Perfect!
The food is delicious, the presentation artistic & lovely. The prices are very good. You definitely get your money's worth! My lunch turned out to be 3 meals for me for $10. The owner was very nice. Family owned & run with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. It's in a Primo location across from an Ocean Park. Not only is the restaurant huge, there is a ton of parking space. There is a space upstairs for Private parties, birthday, ect..
This will definitely be a favorite of ours. Recommend this to anyone who likes mexican food.
We stopped in to a new restaurant in Lincoln City last night. The Tequila Blue Agave Mexican restaurant on Highway 101. The food was excellent. I enjoyed the sea food fajita. They cut a pineapple in half and grilled it, then hollowed it and filled it with lobster, shrimp, chicken and pork with onions and peppers. So tasty. Loved it.
Nice friendly atmosphere. I judge a Mexican restaurant by their carne Asada burrito so as always I ordered one. While it was delicious another table ordered pineapple fajitas. All I can say is now I have to go back for lunch tomorrow. This pineapple was cut in half and stuffed w fajita filling. I'm gonna be up all night dreaming about my lunch.
Great vegan menu real Mexican spices. Wonderful people that creat a great dinning experience. They really care about the authenticity of their food.
Really, really good authentic Mexican food. Decent prices, friendly service, nice place. We'll be back!
Always great food! Taco Tuesday $1.75 all day and margaritas for just $5.95....yessss!!
Holy cow, the flavor is amazing.. I'm really loyal to the restaurant I eat at and this was an adventure out side the box, I have been working out side here past two days smelling good food and it's well worth it..
Very good food and very good drinks mixed well and the chips are very good before the meal
Great place, so we usually visit a competitors place, but this looked bright from the outside, we read the reviews and thought what the heck... Let's try it. We are very glad we did. The restaurant is very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, able to answer our questions. We had the blended strawberry Margarita, it could have been blended a little more, it had chucks of ice, but good and refreshing, not too sweet. The chips and Salsa were great. The food was excellent!! I had the pineapple and steak Fajitas.... Great amount of food, not too much, everything was very fresh and hot. Chimichanga was very good, fresh ingredients. They do have a vegan and vegetarian menu, included in my pics. Our table was never out of water or in need of anything. She did a great job. The prices were very good and definitely worth the money. Great place to visit when you are tired of fish & chips.
Very nice place, great service, the chips and salsa were tasty. Surprisingly the fish and chips were good.
The chimichanga was delicious with an excellent preparation and plate presentation. The tortilla soup was pretty to look at, but it was oily and salty. The taco salad was very good, I recommend the shredded beef.
I really wanted to like this place. I think they're trying hard, but maybe it's a learning process. They have some good food and some great food. The presentation and preparation was usually excellent, but just a few holes. Overall this is one of the best places to eat in Lincoln City.
Great service and even greater food! Their chips and salsa is delicious and free and their special was creamy salmon enchiladas...I’ve never had such delicious enchiladas before! Their sauce had justa little bit of kick, but not too much to detract from the flavor and the salmon inside was cooked to perfection. I could continue to rave, but I think you get the point. This place was great!!
It was really busy when we went in, sat in the bar. Service was friendly and my food was excellent. My boyfriend liked his but not as much as I loved mine. He had the fish tacos and he said they were good. I had the shrimp enchiladas with the white sauce and it was sooo good. Beans and rice were very tasty too. We will be back.
Great Mexican food on the coast! A friend and I had the enchiladas with mole (delicious!) service was fast and friendly. The cheese enchiladas were super cheesy and terrific. We were both so full with half our meals we had to take the rest home. My only suggestion would be better salsas. One tastes like crushed tomatoes from a can with some additions. Everything else was amazing including the guacamole which was a step above a lot of guacamole in other restaurants. Bonus points for the vegetarian and vegan menus!
They are very helpful and accommodating. We came in with a large group and they quickly set up a table so we all could sit together. When going out with family it is hard to find vegan friendly food, but they had a menu! I had the vegan burrito and a margarita both were delicious. My husband. This was our first visit, but next time I'm in Lincoln City I would definitely go again.
There is no reason to look anywhere else for dinner! This place has some of the best Mexican food that I've ever had. It's a shame that they done have one closer to me, I guess I will just have to come to Lincoln City every month for dinner. The staff is super friendly and helpful! If you can decide what you want, just leave it up to them and enjoy the great dish that they make for you!
We just moved here and we're trying the restaurants. Oh, wow - we'll be back to this one often! I had the enchiladas with mole sauce. This was THE BEST mole sauce I've had anywhere! I told our server how much I loved it, and she said, "It's my aunt's recipe." This is authentic - not out of a jar, like some restaurants. The people who work here were all very nice. The place is clean, with an open floor plan. Prices were right in line with what you'd expect. Enjoy!
