There isn't very much that I've tasted from village Inn that I don't like.. And it's a nice place to get together with friends and visit. Most of the time the service is great. Pie night is always a big favorite of ours.
Even though this chain is all over the country, there is no place like a Nebraska village inn.
I work at Villiage Inn, I'm proud to be a member of the organization and for a good year it makes me feel better about myself
Always a great experience at this location. Every time we are in town we stop at this Village Inn. We had a wonderful server who was always quick to refill our drinks. The food came out quickly and was exactly what we ordered. I also observed how efficiently the staff cleaned the tables off.
Extravagant yet simple breakfast meals at low prices! I had the California Skillet with no cheese, eggs poached medium, and hollandaise on the side. My wonderful girlfriend ordered the Ultimate Skillet without mushrooms, extra broccoli. We both shared a pitcher of coffee. The food was extraordinary and our server, Beth, couldn't have helped us more.
Bought a country apple pie, brought it over to my parents and it went over really well. I would have bought two pies but I showed up late in the day and they were out of mixed berry. Didn't catch the manager's name but he was a pretty cool cat, giving all these ladies a discount and chatting them up, just being really nice and friendly. He did tell me he's been working at VI since the eighties so that's got to tell you something positive about the place. I also got to add that every VI is different, but this location has never let us down.
Free pie Wednesday!! Very busy place. Our food was a little different then what we ordered, but it was good. I am giving 5 starts because the customer service was out of this world.
Got our food quickly and it was good. But then it seemed like our server got overwhelmed and forgot our drink refills and we couldn't flag her down for to-go boxes for about 15 minutes ... so that's sort of took it down a notch.
On Father's day, my mother & I ordered an entrée & 3 pancakes for the other 4 family members(my mother & I included), with the online option. When we arrived, the parking lot & diner was packed full of people. We got our food in 15 minutes, 5 minutes longer than the estimated time, & the food was delicious. If it stoped here, I would give this 5 stars, no questions asked, but there was a missing order of pancakes. It's already impressive that the online orders wereavailable on Father's Day, & that our food was done very close to the estimated time! However, I can't look over the fact that one full order of pancakes was charged, we didn't get the food we paid for, & the employee thought to themselves "Huh, this order was for a familty of five..":& thisninead
