UPDATE:
Applebee's is one of my favorite restaurants. They have a variety of affordable food and it's a casual dining environment where you can have a quality meal and good service. My husband and I had recently gone and had a not so good experience in which we felt crowded in our isle seats and like staff were preoccupied and anxious about some sort of staff review or maybe something unusual happening that night with staffing. I wrote a review sharing how much we were disappointed and we wanted to leave and take our food home with us, but couldn't due to ordering an "all you can eat" special.
After writing my post, Applebee's reached out to me to apologize for our experience and allowed me the opportunity to write in further detail about what happened. They acknowledged our concerns, were very respectful and informed me that they used my concerns as a learning moment to make customer service the best that they can. We were also offered a store credit to make up for our negative experience and the food we were unable to take home with us.
We just went back to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary with our family of 5, and the whole meal was covered by our credit, which shows how affordable this restaurant is. We had a great time and our food was delicious :D It was a nice and memorable experience, and I am very happy!
I rarely give a 5/5 , but this place surely deserves it. .. it’s always not about the drink or food in a Restaurant.. it’s about customer service and this one had best service ! I could have given 3 or 4 stars but the customer service and smiling waitress made me give a 5 star..
This was right next to our hotel and was easy to walk for dinner . Nice location . Amazing space inside to sit and dine . Very good bar with so many beers on tap. Love their blue moons .. the food took sometime to come but we were always taken care by the waitress .wings was really good. Salad was ok. Cake was awesome .. nice ambience . Overall a very good experience 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My Steak was cooked to my specification and I had veggies instead of French fries.
The atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious!
Our server zack was very friendly and ver happy person he made my wife birthday a fun time keep up the great job
Had a great lunch here! Kristin was an outstanding server and was very attentive even though she had a bunch of other tables and bar guests. The manager Scott also took great care of us. Highly recommended.
My daughter wanted to celebrate her 20th Birthday with her brother at Applebee's. I am beyond grateful for the kindness, and quality service the server showed myself and family. I think it is imperative to acknowledge people who stand out in the customer service and also wana make me want to dine at this location for any of our special occasions. Thank you Team Applebee's. The food was fingerlicking good as you can see my son enjoyed the wings.
We are at Applebee in Clay on Rt. 31. The service is great and food came out and was cooked the way we ordered it. The people here are friendly and efficient. Our server Lisa was great she was helpful and listened to our order and got it correct. She is very friendly. I highly recommend the Clay Applebee's. To our servers and cooks..Thank you for a great late lunch.
Friendly staff and yummy food, but our waitress needed retraining on a few basic service skills: I don’t want to see waitstaff constantly, but we barely saw ours; not asking if we needed drink refills (which we clearly did as the kids had half their drinks gone by the time the food got to us); I had to ask for basic table supplies (napkins).
Luckily the kids had patience and were kept occupied by the table tablet ($1.99) for unlimited play; if I hadn’t paid the extra for that, the story might be different, or if the lava cake wasn’t so good that the kids wanted to lick the plates!
It's great for a cheap outing and above average food. It's a classic, we all love it. Understaffed at the time of our visit, but our server was awesome and personable.
Amanda is the greatest bartender! We also love Jessica and Allison. All three ladies are amazing and their customer service is phenomenal ontop of the quality of drinks and timeliness of orders taken! Food here is great when Jamie is in the kitchen. Love this location. 🖤
Unreal. This has been our experience the last few times we have ordered there for curbside. Prices go up and look how little soup is in the container. Portion sizes👎🏼👎🏼
I AM EDITING MY REVIEW. APPLEBEES TOOK OWNERSHIP OF WHAT HAPPENED AND APOLOGIZED AND WANTED TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. A LOT MORE COMPANIES SHOULD FOLLOW SUIT IN HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS! THANK YOU FOR LISTENING AND MAKING IT RIGHT APPLEBEES!!!👏👏
Absolutely adore Amanda, she has been nothing but an amazing vibe for me. I have been coming for years and she is always attentive and remembers my order every time. When I come in and Amanda is there, I know I will be taken care of.
The only issue was the cold fries. We requested new ones and they were cold as well. By that time, I said never mind. I'm sure if we had pushed the issue, they would've tried again.
I got the riblets platter, it was more than I could eat, which was a shame because it was really yummy. I’m not sure I’d order riblets again, as I think I’d prefer the regular ribs, a half rack. Tried the exclusive mtn dew they had. It was tasty.
Our waiter was amazing! He was very friendly and personal! The food was so good!
