Oumi Sasaya - Lomita - Photo album

Hands down the best udon in the greater LA area, as far as I'm concerned. The head chef did change recently but in recent visits it still seems like they're maintaining quality/standards. The oyakodon is also incredible - juicy battered chicken and egg over perfectly cooked rice :)
By far my favorite Udon restaurant in town. Get there right at opening 11:30a since it fills up fast for weekend lunch. Serves udon in soup and on plate either hot or cold. I suggest the spicy chicken udon hot in winter and cold in summer. That plus a HUGE draft beer and you are all set.
Summary: Pretty good. Value is alright. A decent amount of parking in the strip mall, but it fills up. Expect a wait during prime hours. Quality is excellent. Service is a bit slow. My wife and I are not big udon people, but given the super high ratings, we figured we would give it a try. We ha
This place specializes in udon. I prefer ramen to udon personally but their udon is so good I'll take it over any average ramen place any day. The place fills up fast during dinner so they leave the reservation list outside for you to fill yourself before they open.
Oh my god! Udon heaven. This place is perfect for your Japanese carb needs. It is pricey for what you're getting but boy is it delicious. Small restaurant that does not take reservations so be prepared to wait.
Noodles are yummy. Tempura is yummy. Curry is yummy. Overall enjoy this place it is our go to for udon.
Beef bowl was yum. Chicken wings were pretty good just not sure about the price. Would eat here again.
MY SON AND I HAVE BEEN THERE TWICE IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS AND BOTH NIGHTS THE CHOICES WE PICKED WERE SO DELICIOUS . THEY WERE RECOMMENED BY THE OWNER AND CHEF. THE WAITRESS ARE VERY HELPFUL IN EXPAINING DIFFERENT OPTIONS. IT WAS DELICIOUS 10 ON A SALE OF 1 TO 10
